Abstract

 本発明は、銅、亜鉛およびアルミニウムを含み、特定の格子面間隔d(Å)にブロードなX線回折ピークを示す触媒前駆体物質及び銅塩、亜鉛塩及びアルミニウム塩を含有する溶液とアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属水酸化物を含有する溶液を混合して沈殿させることによる該触媒前駆体物質を製造し、該触媒前駆体を焼成して触媒を調製し、該触媒を水性ガスシフト反応用触媒とし、該触媒を用いて一酸化炭素を変成し、該変成方法により得られた水素を用いて燃料電池システムとすることにより、活性及び耐久性が高く、燃料電池に適用しても活性の低下が少なく、長期間使用できる水性ガスシフト反応用として有用な触媒及び該触媒を用いた一酸化炭素変成方法並びに該変成方法により得られた水素を用いる燃料電池システムを提供する。
