These plates are fixed by any appropriate means, bolting or the like to the chassis 2 and they comprise, at each end of their branches 11, cutouts 12 in the form of a Vee open towards the trailer 5 which constitute the anchoring and securing the trailer. Cet assujettissement par quatre points disposés selon un rectangle est obtenu et maintenu au moyen de la flèche 15. Les axes 16 et les échancrures 12 constituent les organes de centrage et d'emboîtement mâle-femelle, qui permettent de positionner et de solidariser la remorque au châssis du véhicule tracteur. Lorsqu'elle est solidarisée de cette façon, la remorque bénéficie de la stabilité du véhicule et fait corps avec ce dernier. La flèche 15 qui apparaît en position rétractée figures 1 et 2, est constituée d'un anneau 21 qui coopère avec le crochet 13 du véhicule tracteur, lequel anneau est disposé à l'extrémité de la tige d'un vérin télescopique 22. Le corps du vérin 22 est solidaire du châssis 6 de la remorque 5, fixé sur la structure 19 par exemple.
