Abstract

Método para eliminación catalítica de SO2 y CO2 en gases de escape de un reactor cargado con un catalizador de carbón activado, caracterizado por las etapas de saturación del carbón activado con SO 2 , saturación o saturación parcial de los gases de escape con agua, introducción de dichos gases en el reactor, conversión catalítica de SO2 en H2SO 4 y, paralelamente, conversión catalítica de CO2 en C y 02 y en compuestos de azufre-carbono en el mismo catalizador, lavado del catalizador y descarga del H2SO4 como un líquido y del C como un sólido y/o unido a compuestos de azufre.
