Description
1. Område for oppfinnelsen
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører biologisk nedbrytbare høyytelses hydrokarbon-basisoljer som er egnet for bruk som motorolje og industrioljeblandinger. Spesielt vedrører den smøremiddel-basisoljeblandinger og en fremgangsmåte ved fremstilling av slike blandinger ved hydroisomerisering/- hydrokrakking av parafinske vokser, med fordel Fischer-Tropsch-vokser.
2. Bakgrunn
Det er velkjent at meget store mengder smøreoljer, f.eks. motoroljer, transmisjonsakseloljer, girkasseoljer osv., ofte havner i naturen, ved uhell eller t.o.m. forsettelig. Disse oljer kan forårsake mye skade i miljøet, hvis de ikke er biologisk nedbrytbare. Av denne grunn finnes det i USA og i utlandet et økt press for å utvikle og bruke høyytel-ses smøremiddel-basisoljer som er miljøvennlige, eller hovedsaklig biologisk nedbrytbare når de slipper eller slippes ut i naturen.
Få hydrokarbon-basisoljer er miljøvennlige, selv om deres egenskaper som smøremidler måtte være overlegne. Litteratu-ren understreker den overlegne biologiske nedbrytbarhet av esterbaserte smøremidler, som kan være naturlige eller syntetiske, overfor hydrokarbonbaserte produkter. Imidlertid understrekes ikke estersmøremidlenes ytelse. Det finnes få litteraturfunn vedrørende hydrokarbonsmøremidlers biologiske nedbrytbarhet. Ethyl Petroleum Additives' EP 468.109A beskriver imidlertid den biologiske nedbrytbarhet av smøre-oljer som inneholder minst 10 vol% av et "biologisk ned-brytbart flytende hydrokarbon med smørende viskositet som dannes ved oligomerisering av et 1-alkenhydrokarbon med 6-20 karbonatomer i molekylet, og hydrogenering av den erholdte oligomer". Tydeligvis har hydrogenerte oligomerer av denne type en uventet god biologisk nedbrytbarhet, spesielt de som inneholder minst 50 vol% dimer, trimer og/eller tetramer. Ethyl Petroleum Additives' EP 558.835 Al beskriver smøreoljer som har lignende polyalfaolefinkomponenter (PAO-komponenter). Imidlertid henviser begge disse publika-sjoner til en manglende ytelse av de syntetiske og naturlige esteroljer, så som en lav oksidasjonsstabilitet ved høy temperatur og en mangelfull hydrolytisk stabilitet. British Petroleum's FR 2.675.812 beskriver fremstillingen av biologisk nedbrytbare PAO-hydrokarbon-basisoljer ved avvoksing av en hydrokrakket basisolje ved lave temperaturer.
Det finnes et klart behov for biologisk nedbrytbare høy-ytelses hydrokarbon-basisoljer som er nyttige som motorolje og industriell olje, eller smøremiddelblandinger som er minst like gode som polyalfaolefinene, men som har den spe-sielle fordel at de er bedre biologisk nedbrytbare.
3. Sammenfatning av oppfinnelsen
Foreliggende oppfinnelse kan i korthet sammenfattes slik det fremgår av de vedføyde krav.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse, som tilfredsstiller disse og andre behov, vedrører dermed biologisk nedbrytbare høyytel-ses parafinske smøremiddel-basisoljer og fremgangsmåter ved fremstilling av slike blandinger ved hydrokrakking og hydroisomerisering av parafinske eller voksaktige hydro-karbonråstoffer, spesielt Fischer-Tropsch-vokser eller Fischer-Tropsch-reaksjonsprodukter, som helt eller delvis har et kokepunkt over 370°C, dvs. 370°C<+>. Det voksaktige råstoff bringes først i berøring med hydrogen over en bifunksjonell katalysator for å utløse hydroisomeriserings-og hydrokrakkingreaksjoner som er tilstrekkelig for å omdanne minst 20-50 vekt%, fortrinnsvis 25-40 vekt%, i én gjennomgang og beregnet på vekten av 370°C<+->råstoffet eller 370°C+-råstof f komponentene, til 370°C~-materialer, og å danne 370°C<+->materialer som er anriket med metylparafiner. Dette erholdte råprodukt, som inneholder både 370°C~- og 370°C<+->materialer, som generelt beskrives som en Cs-565°C<+->råstoff-fraksjon, toppes først ved atmosfærisk destillasjon for å gi en fraksjon med lavere kokepunkter, som har et høyeste kokepunkt mellom 345°C og 400°C, f.eks. 370°C, og en fraksjon med høyere kokepunkter, eller bunnfraksjon, hvis laveste kokepunkt (IBP) er mellom 345°C og 400°C, f.eks. 370°C, og hvis høyeste eller endelige kokepunkt er ca. 565°C<+>, f.eks. en 370°C<+->fraksjon. Fraksjonen med lavere kokepunkter, f.eks. 370°C~-fraksjonen, fra destillasjo-nen er en ikke-smøremiddelfraksjon, dvs. en brenselfrak-sjon.
Ved disse omdannelsesgrader omdanner hydroisomeriserings/- hydrokrakking-reaksjonen en betydelig mengde av det voksaktige eller parafinske råstoff til 370°C<+->metylparafiner, dvs. isoparafiner som inneholder en eller flere metylgrup-per i molekylet, med en minimal dannelse av forgreninger med et karbonatall over 1; dvs. etyl, propyl, butyl eller lignende. De således behandlede 370°C<+->bunnfraksjoner inneholder 370°C<+->isoparafiner med ca. 6,0-7,5 metylforgreninger pr. 100 karbonatomer, fortrinnsvis 6,5-7,0 metylforgreninger pr. 100 karbonatgomer, i molekylet. Disse isoparafiner som foreligger i en blanding med andre materialer, gir et produkt fra hvilket man kan erholde høyytelses biologisk nedbrytbare smøreoljer.
Bunnfraksjonen med de høyere kokepunkter, f.eks. 370°C<+->bunnfraksjonen, som inneholder metylparafinene, eller råstoffraksjonen, avvokses i et konvensjonelt oppløsningsmid-del-avvoksingstrinn for å fjerne n-parafinene, og det iso-lerte avvoksede produkt, dvs. den avvoksede olje, deles i fraksjoner under vakuum for å gi parafinske smøreoljefrak-sjoner med forskjellig viskositet, bl.a. hydrokarbonolje-fraksjoner som er egnet som høyytelses motoroljer og motor-smøremidler, som til forskjell fra de fleste hydrokarbon-basisoljer, er biologisk nedbrytbare når de slippes eller slipper ut i naturen. Hva angår deres ytelse, er de like gode som PAO-smøremidlene, og overlegne over PAO-smøremid-lene med hensyn til sin biologiske nedbrytbarhet.
4 . Detaljert beskrivelse
Råstoffene som isomeriseres for å danne smøremiddel-basis-materialet og smøremidlene med katalysatoren ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse, er voksaktige råstoffer, f. eks. C5<+>, som fortrinnsvis har et laveste kokepunkt over ca. 115°C, mer foretrukket over ca. 290°C, og de består i hovedsak av komponenter som koker ved over 370°C. Råstoffet kan erhol-des enten fra en Fischer-Tropsch-prosess, som gir hovedsaklig normale parafiner, eller fra petroleumavledet parafinslam.
Parafinslam er biprodukter av avvoksingsprosesser hvor et tynningsmiddel, så som propan eller keton (f.eks. metyl-etylketon, metylisobutylketon), eller et annet tynningsmiddel brukes for å fremme vokskrystallveksten, idet voksen fjernes fra basisoljen ved filtrering eller på annen egnet måte. Parafinslam er generelt parafinsk av natur, koker ved over 315°C, fortrinnsvis innen området 315-565°C, og kan inneholde fra 1-35 vekt% olje. Vokser med lavt oljeinnhold, f.eks. 5-20 vekt%, foretrekkes, men imidlertid kan også voksaktige destillater eller raffinater som inneholder 5-45% voks, brukes som råstoffer. Parafinslam befries vanligvis for polynukleære aromatiske stoffer og heteroatom-forbindelser ved teknikker som er kjent innen faget, f.eks. mild hydrogenbehandling som beskrives i US-patentet nr. 4.900.707, hvilket også nedsetter svovel- og nitrogen-innholdet til fortrinnsvis under 5 ppm hhv. under 2 ppm. Fischer-Tropsch-vokser er de foretrukne råstoffmaterialer, idet de inneholder ubetydelige mengder aromatiske stoffer og svovel- og nitrogenforbindelser. Fischer-Tropsch-væske, eller -voks, defineres som produktet av en Fischer-Tropsch-prosess hvor en syntetisk gass, eller en blanding av hydrogen og karbonmonoksid, behandles ved hevet temperatur over en båret katalysator som utgjøres av et eller flere metaller fra gruppe VIII i elementenes periodiske system (Sargent-Welch Scientific Company, Copyright 1968), f.eks. kobolt, ruthenium, jern osv. Fischer-Tropsch-væsken inneholder C5<+->, fortrinnsvis Cio<+->, mer foretrukket C2o<+_>parafiner. En destillasjon som viser den fraksjonelle sammensetning (± 10 vekt% for hver fraksjon) av et vanlig råstoff fra en Fischer-Tropsch-prosess, er som følger:
Voksråstoffet bringes i berøring med hydrogen under hydrokrakking/hydroisomeriserings-betingelser over en bifunksjonell katalysator eller katalysator som inneholder et eller flere metaller, hydrogeneringskomponent og en sur oksid-bærekomponent, som virksomt utløser både hydrokrakking- og hydroisomeriseringsreaksjoner. Fortrinnsvis bringes et fast lag av katalysator i berøring med råstoffet ved betingelser som omdanner ca. 20-50 vekt%, fortrinnsvis 25-40 vekt% av 370°C<+->råstoffkomponentene i råstoffet til 370°C~-materialer, og gir en fraksjon med lave kokepunkter, hvis høyeste kokepunkt er mellom 345°C og 400°C, f.eks. 370°C, og en fraksjon med høye kokepunkter, hvis laveste kokepunkt er mellom 345°C og 400°C, f.eks. 370°C, idet den gjenværende fraksjon med høyere kokepunkter inneholder blandekomponen-ter av høy kvalitet for fremstilling av høyytelses biologisk nedbrytbare basisoljer. Generelt utføres hydrokrakking/hydroisomeriserings-reaksjonen ved å bringe det voksaktige råstoff i berøring over katalysatoren ved en regulert kombinasjon av betingelser som fører til denne grad av omdannelse, f.eks. ved å velge en temperatur fra 205-455°C, fortrinnsvis 260-370°C, et trykk fra 7-105 kg/cm<2> manometertrykk, fortrinnsvis 21-70 kg/cm<2> manometertrykk, en hydrogenbehandlings-gasshastighet fra 178-1780 dm3/l, fortrinnsvis 356-891 dm<3>/l, og romhastigheter fra 0,5-10 LHSV, fortrinnsvis 0,5-2 LHSV.
Den aktive metallkomponent av katalysatoren er fortrinnsvis et eller flere metaller fra gruppe VIII av elementenes periodiske system (Sargent-Welch Scientific Company, Copyright 1968), i en tilstrekkelig mengde for å være kataly-tisk aktive for hydrokrakking og hydroisomerisering av det voksaktige råstoff. Katalysatoren kan i tillegg til metallet eller metallene fra gruppe VIII også inneholde et eller flere metaller fra gruppe IB og/eller gruppe VIB av elementenes periodiske system, idet metallkonsentrasjonene varie-rer fra 0,05-20 vekt% beregnet på katalysatorens samlede vekt, fortrinnsvis fra 0,1-10 vekt%. Eksempler på slike metaller er de uedle metaller fra gruppe VIII så som nikkel og kobolt, eller blandinger av disse metaller med hverandre eller med andre metaller, så som kobber, et metall fra gruppe IB eller molybden, som er et metall fra gruppe VIB. Palladium og platin er eksempler på egnede edelmetaller fra gruppe VIII. Metallet eller metallene innlemmes med bærer-komponenten av katalysatoren ved kjente metoder, f.eks. ved impregnering av bæreren med en oppløsning av et egnet salt eller en egnet syre av metallet eller metallene, tørking og kalsinering.
Katalysatorbæreren består av komponenter av et eller flere metalloksider, idet minst én komponent er et surt oksid som virksomt utløser olefinkrakking- og hydroisomeriseringsreaksjoner. Eksempler på oksider omfatter silisiumoksid, silisiumoksid/aluminiumoksid, leirer, f.eks. lagdelte leirer, magnesiumoksid, titanoksid, zirkoniumoksid, halogeni-der, f.eks. klorert aluminiumoksid, og lignende. Katalysatorbæreren utgjøres fortrinnsvis av silisiumoksid og aluminiumoksid, idet en spesielt foretrukken bærer til ca. 35 vekt%, fortrinnsvis 2-35 vekt%, utgjøres av silisiumoksid, og har de følgende porestrukturelle kjennetegn: Basismaterialene silisiumoksid og aluminiumoksid kan f.eks. være oppløselig silisiumoksid som inneholder forbindelser så som alkalimetallsilikater (fortrinnsvis hvor Na20:SiC>2 = 1:2 til 1:4), tetraalkoksysilan, ortokiselsyreester osv.; sulfater, nitrater eller klorider av aluminiumalkalimetall-aluminater; eller uorganiske eller organiske salter av alk-oksider eller lignende. Når hydratene av silisiumoksid eller aluminiumoksid felles fra en oppløsning av slike utgangsstoffer, tilsettes en egnet syre eller base, og pH-verdien innstilles innen området 6,0-11,0. Felning og her-ding ved aldring utføres under oppvarming ved tilsetning av en syre eller base under tilbakeløp for å hindre fordamping av behandlingsvæsken og endring av pH-verdien. Resten av bærerfremstillingsprosessen omfatter trinn som er i vanlig bruk, så som filtrering, tørking og kalsinering av bærer-materialet. Bæreren kan også inneholde en liten mengde, f.eks. 1-30 vekt%, materialer så som magnesiumoksid, titanoksid, zirkoniumoksid, hafniumoksid eller lignende.
Bærermaterialer og deres fremstilling beskrives i større detalj i US-patentet nr. 3.843.509, som innlemmes heri ved henvisning dertil. Bærermaterialene har generelt et flateareal fra 180-400 m<2>/g, fortrinnsvis 230-375 m<2>/g, et pore-volum fra vanligvis 0,3-1,0 ml/g, fortrinnsvis 0,5-0,95 ml/g, en bulktetthet fra generelt 0,5-1,0 g/ml, og en side-trykkfasthet fra 0,8-3,5 kg/mm.
Hydrokrakking/hydroisomeriseringsreaksjonen utføres vanligvis i en eller flere reaktorer som er serielt forbundet, generelt fra 1-5 reaktorer, men fortrinnsvis utføres reaksjonen i en enkelt reaktor. Det voksaktige hydrokarbon-råstoff, f.eks. Fischer-Tropsch-voks, fortrinnsvis ett som har et kokepunkt over ca. 370°C, eller som inneholder en stor andel 370°C<+->komponenter, fylles sammen med hydrogen inn i reaksjonsbeholderen, eller i den første av en rekke reaksjonsbeholdere, for å bringes i berøring med et fast lag av katalysatoren under reaksjonsbetingelsene for hydrokrakking/hydroisomerisering, for å hydrokrakke, hydroisome-risere og omdanne i det minste en del av det voksaktige råstoff til produkter som etter ytterligere opparbeidelse omfatter oljer og smøremiddel-blandingskomponenter med høy kvalitet.
De følgende eksempler skal illustrere hovedtrekkene av foreliggende oppfinnelse. Alle andeler og prosentandeler er beregnet på vekten, hvis intet annet er nevnt.
Eksemplene 1- 9
En blanding av hydrogen og karbonmonoksid-syntesegass (H2:CO 2,11-2,16) ble omdannet til tunge parafiner i en Fischer-Tropsch-oppslemmingsreaktor. En titanbåret kobolt/- rhenium-katalysator ble benyttet for Fischer-Tropsch-reaksjonen. Reaksjonen ble utført ved 215-220°C, 20,1-20,2 kg/cm<2> manometertrykk, og råstoffet ble innført ved en lineær hastighet fra 12-17,5 cm/sekund. Alfa-verdien for Fischer-Tropsch-syntesetrinnet var 0,92. Det parafinske Fischer-Tropsch-produkt ble isolert i tre nominelt forskjellige kokestrømmer og separert ved bruk av en hurtig-fordamper. De tre kokepunktfraksjoner som ble erholdt, var: 1) en fraksjon med kokepunkter fra Cs-260°C, dvs. F-T-kaldseparatorvæsker; 2) en fraksjon med kokepunkter fra 260-370°C, dvs. F-T-varmseparatorvæsker; og 3) en fraksjon med kokepunkter over 370°C, dvs. en F-T-reaktorvoks.
En rekke basisoljer ble fremstilt under gjennomløp ved hydrokrakking og isomerisering av 370°C<+->Fischer-Tropsch-reaktor-voksråstoffet med hydrogen, med forskjellige omdannelsesgrader over en silisiumoksid-forsterket kobolt/molybden/nikkel-katalysator (CoO 3,6 vekt%; M0O3 16,4 vekt%; NiO 0,66 vekt%; på en Si02-Al203-bærer hvorav 13,7 vekt% var silisiumoksid); hvis flateareal var 270 m<2>/g og hvis pore-volum <30 mm var lik 0,43). En kombinasjon av reaksjons-betingelser, f.eks. med hensyn til temperatur, romhastig-het, trykk og hydrogenbehandlingshastighet, for å omdanne 30 vekt%, 35 vekt%, 45 vekt%, 50 vekt%, 58 vekt%, 67 vekt% hhv. 80 vekt% av råstoffet til materialer med kokepunkter under 370°C, dvs. 370°C~. Betingelsene for hvert forsøk og utbyttene som ble erholdt for disse, er angitt i tabell 1. Tabellen fører også opp hvilken mengde IBP-34 5°C- og 345°C<+->produkter som ble erholdt ved 15/5-destillasjon.
En 345°C<+->bunnfraksjon ble isolert fra de erholdte produkter fra hver gjennomgang, ved atmosfærisk destillasjon, og deretter igjen delt opp i fraksjoner under høyvakuum for å gi flere smøremidler med forskjellig viskositet, nemlig 60N, 100N, 175N og ca. 350-400N. Restproduktene ble deretter underkastet oppløsningsmiddel-avvoksing for å fjerne voksaktige hydrokarboner og senke flytepunktet til ca. -18°C (32°F)?.
For hver viskositet holdt man avvoksingsbetingelsene kon-stante, således at man kunne bedømme omdannelsesgradens virkning på avvoksingen. Avvoksingsbetingelsene for 100N hhv. 175N viskositet ved 30%, 50%, 67% og 80% omdannelsesgrad er angitt i tabell 2.
De fysikalske egenskaper, utbyttet av avvokset olje, tørr-oljeinnholdet (DWO) og det tilsvarende tørrvoksinnhold (begge uttrykt som vekt% av det voksaktige råstoff) for hver avvoksing for 100N- og 175N-viskositeten ved forskjellige omdannelsesgrader, angis i tabell 3. Forgreningstettheten ifølge den kjernemagnetiske resonans (NMR) for 100N-basisoljene som ble fremstilt med 30%, 50%, 67% hhv. 80% omdannelse, er angitt i tabell 4. Det er tyde-lig at det foreligger mindre metylforgrening ved de lavere omdannelsesgrader, idet den biologiske nedbrytbarhet av oljen øker idet omdannelsesgraden senkes. Blandingene med høyest biologisk nedbrytbarhet fremstilles dermed ved en omdannelsesgrad på 30 vekt%, og blandingene med den nest-høyeste biologiske nedbrytbarhet fremstilles ved en omdannelsesgrad på 50 vekt%.
Man har også funnet at viskositetsindeksen VI synker med synkende omdannelsesgrad for hver bestemte viskositet. Dette kan forklares med at basisoljer som fremstilles med en høyere omdannelsesgrad, tenderer til å være mer sterkt forgrenet, og dermed har en lavere viskositetsindeks. For 100N-basisoljen er VI-verdien fra 141-118. For 175N-oljen er det tilsvarende VI-område 153-136. 175N-basisoljene har VI-verdier som også kan sammenlignes med verdien for det handelstilgjengelige "ETHYLFLO" 166, hvis VI-verdi er 143. VI-verdien for 100N-viskositeten kan sammenlignes med verdien for det handelstilgjengelige "ETHYLFLO" 164, hvis VI-verdi er 125. For sammenligning presenteres visse fysikalske egenskaper av de handelstilgjengelige 100N "ETHYLFLO" 164 og 175N "ETHYLFLO" 166 i tabell 5.
For å bestemme den biologiske nedbrytbarhet av DWO-basisstoffene og av smøremiddelblandingene, utførte man tester i henhold til CEC-L-33-T-82, som er en testmetode som ble utviklet av "Coordinating European Council" (CEC) og be-skrevet i "Biodegradability of Two-Stroke Cycle Outboard Engine Oils In Water: Tentative Test Method", s. 1-8, som er innlemmet heri ved henvisning dertil. Testen måler den nedsatte mengde substrat som skyldes en mikrobiell aktivi-tet. Det har vist seg at målt ifølge CEC-L-33-T-82, har DWO-basisstoffene og smøremiddelblandingene som ble fremstilt ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse, en biologisk nedbrytbarhet på over ca. 50%, og 10 av dem er til generelt over ca. 50% til ca. 90% og mer biologisk nedbrytbare.
Eksemplene 10- 13
CEC-L-33-T-82-testen ble utført for å observere den biologiske nedbrytning av de følgende prøver over et tidsrom på 21 dager, nemlig:

Hver test ble utført ved bruk av et FREON-oppløsningsmid-del, og stamoppløsningene som ble brukt, var standard ifølge kravene som stilles for testprosessen.
Podestoffet var ikke-filtrert primært avvann fra Pike Brook Treatment Plant i Bellemead, New Jersey, USA. Podestoffet viste seg å inneholde mellom 1 x IO<4> og 1 x IO<5> kolonidan-nende enheter/ml (CFU/ml) ifølge undersøkelse på "Easi-cult"-TCC-dyppeobj ektglass.
Man forberedte testsystemer i tre eksemplarer for hvert materiale som skulle testes, og for "Vistone" A30, og på dag 0 undersøkte man systemene for å bestemme testmaterial-konsentrasjonen. Alle ekstraksjoner ble utført som beskre-vet i testprosessen. Analysene ble utført på "Nicolet" Model 205 FT-IR. Tre testsystemer for prøvene B til X, i tillegg til forgiftede systemer for hver prøve, ble plas-sert på sirkelrysteanordninger og kontinuerlig holdt i bevegelse med 150 rpm i totalt mørke ved 25+0°C inntil dag 21. På dag 21 analyserte man prøvene for å bestemme restmengden testmateriale. Prøve "A" ble dessuten bedømt med 7 dagers intervaller for å bestemme nedbrytningshastigheten sammen med de ovennevnte prøver. Man forberedte tre systemer for "A", og ekstraherte og analyserte dem etter syv, fjorten og tjueen dagers inkubasjon.
RESULTATER
Eksemplene 13- 16
CEC-L-33-T-82-testen ble utført for å observere den biologiske nedbrytning av de følgende testmaterialer under et tidsrom på 21 dager.

Hver test ble utført ved bruk av et FREON-oppløsningsmid-del, og stamoppløsningene som ble brukt, var standard ifølge kravene som stilles for testprosessen.
Podestoffet var ikke-filtrert primært avvann fra Pike Brook Treatment Plant i Bellemead, New Jersey, USA. Podestoffet viste seg å inneholde mellom 1 x IO<4> og 1 x IO<5> kolonidan-nende enheter/ml (CFU/ml) ifølge undersøkelse på "Easi-cult"-TCC-dyppeobj ektglass.
Man forberedte testsystemer i tre eksemplarer for hvert materiale som skulle testes, og for "Vistone" A30, og på dag 0 undersøkte man systemene for å bestemme testmaterial-konsentrasjonen. Alle ekstraksjoner ble utført som beskre-vet i testprosessen. Analysene ble utført på "Nicolet" Model 205 FT-IR. Tre testsystemer for prøvene A til X, i tillegg til forgiftede systemer for hver prøve, ble plas-sert i miljøkammere og kontinuerlig holdt i bevegelse med 150 rpm i totalt mørke ved 25+0°C inntil dag 21. På dag 21 analyserte man prøvene for å bestemme restmengden testmateriale .
RESULTATER
Disse data viser at to forskjellige 100N-oljer hadde en biologisk nedbrytbarhet i nærheten av 75%, og to forskjellige 100N-oljer hadde en biologisk nedbrytbarhet vel over 75%, idet én nærmet seg 85%. Den blå engel (miljømerke) i Tyskland definerer "lett biologisk nedbrytbar" som >80% i CEC-L-33-T-82-testen. De tre 175N-oljer som ble testet, hadde verdier for den biologiske nedbrytbarhet fra 51-77%.
DWO-basisstoffene og smøremiddelblandingene er grunnet sitt høye parafininnhold, nemlig >97,5 vol%, også egnet som råstoff for hvit olje for medisinsk bruk. I det følgende bringes et eksempel.
Eksempel 18
En avvokset 60N-basisolje ble underkastet mild hydrofining over en Ni-Mn-MoS04-bulkkatalysator for å utløse en 80 vekt% grad av omdannelse (dvs. 240°C, 42 kg/cm<2> manometertrykk H2, 0,25 LHSV). Produktet bestod lett den diagnos-tiske "varm syre-test" for hvite oljer til medisinsk bruk.
Det er åpenbart at det kan gjøres forskjellige modifikasjo-ner og endringer uten å fravike fra ånden og rammen for foreliggende oppfinnelse.
Claims (7)
1. En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en biologisk nedbrytbar høyytelses hydrokarbon-basisolje, som omfatter: bringe et 371°C<+->parafinsk råstoff, eller parafinsk råstoff som inneholder 371°C<+->komponenter, fått fra en Fischer-Tropsch-prosess, i kontakt med hydrogen over en bifunksjonell katalysator, som er aktiv for både hydrokrakking og hydroisomerisering, omfattet av en ikke-edel gruppe Vlll-metall(er), på en bærer som består av silika og alumina, hvor silikainnholdet er opp til 35 vektprosent og bæreren eventuelt inneholder fra 1 til 30 vektprosent magnesiumoksid, titanoksid, zirkoniumoksid eller hafniumoksid, for å omdanne fra 20 til 50 vektprosent av 371 °C<+->råstoffet, eller 371 °C<+->fødekomponenter, til 371 °C<+->materialet og for å fremstille en råoljefraksjon som inneholder 371°C<+->isoparafiner som har fra 6,0 til 7,5 metylforgreninger for hver hundrede karbonatom, toppe råstoffraksjonen ved atmosfærisk destillasjon for å danne en rest-bunnfraksjon som har et laveste kokepunkt fra 345-400 °C, avvokse bunnfraksjonen med et løsningsmiddel og gjenvinne en avvokset olje, og fraksjonere den avvoksede oljen under vakuum for å gjenvinne den biologisk nedbrytbare høyytelses hydrokarbon-basisoljen.
2. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, hvori katalysatoren omfattes av en gruppe IB eller VIB-metall(er), eller både en gruppe IB og VIB-metall(er), i tillegg til gruppe VIII-metall(ene).
3. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 2, hvori metallkonsentrasjonen spenner fra 0,1 % til 20 %, basert på totalvekten av katalysatoren, gruppe IB-metallet er kobber, gruppe VTB-metallet er molybden og gruppe VTII-metallet er nikkel eller kobolt.
4. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, hvori den fremstilte fraksjonen inneholdende 371 °C<+->isoparafiner som har fra 6,5 til 7,0 metylforgreninger for hver hundrede karbonatom i molekylene.
5. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, hvori omdanningsnivået for 371 °C<+->føden spenner fra 25-40 vektprosent.
6. Anvendelse av biologisk nedbrytbar høyytelses hydrokarbon-basisolje oppnådd ifølge fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1 som motorolje eller som en motoroljekomponent.
7. Anvendelse av den biologisk nedbrytbare høyytelses hydrokarbon-basisolje oppnådd ifølge fremgangsmåten ifølge krav 1 for å fremstille en hvit olje med medisinsk kvalitet.
