Abstract
En un procedimiento para el tratamiento de escorias o mezclas de escorias con un contenido de hierro > 5% en peso, en particular de escorias de fabricas de acero, en el que las escorias de acero, eventualmente mezcladas con otras escorias, se disponen en un bano de metal, como bano de metal se utiliza un bano de acero con un contenido de C < 1.5% en peso, de preferencia < 0.5% en peso, y el bano de acero, despues de disponer las escorias de acero, se carbura a mas de 2.0% en peso, de preferencia > 2.5% en peso, mediante la introduccion de carbono o portadores de carbono.
