Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir polímeros de alfa-olefina en un proceso de polimerización de múltiples etapas que incluye al menos dos reactores de polimerización de fase gaseosa, en donde el gas sin reaccionar extraído del segundo reactor de polimerización de fase gaseosa se comprime en un compresor y el gas comprimido se alimenta a través de una línea de gas de transporte a una salida entre un primer recipiente de salida corriente abajo del primer reactor de polimerización de fase gaseosa y el segundo reactor de polimerización de fase gaseosa. Tal proceso puede remediar los problemas de mal funcionamiento, perturbaciones o taponamiento de las líneas de transferencia y permite una mayor productividad y un ahorro considerable de costos de energía y equipo. Además, es posible la producción de polímeros de alfa-olefina con propiedades variables y adaptadas.
