Abstract

본 발명은 염소화된 폴리염화비닐 화합물 및 이로부터 제조된 제품에 관한 것이다. 상기 화합물은 2단계CPVC수지, 염소화된 폴리에틸렌 뿐만 아니라 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 변형제를 함유한다. 상기 화합물은 우수한 물리적 특성, 화학적 저항성 뿐만 아니라 용이한 가공성을 나타낸다.

Claims (14)

  1. 수성 현탁액중에서 2단계 공정에 의해 제조되는 CPVC 수지를 포함하는 화합물로서, 제1단계에서, 57%의 염소 함량을 갖는 과립형 미소다공성 폴리염화비닐을 30 내지 75%의 출발 온도에서, 액체 염소 및 유리 산소의 부재하에서, 그러나 화학량론적 양 이상이고 CPVC 최종 생성물 제조하는데 필요한 양보다10% 미만까지 초과하는 양의 염소 및 64 내지 72중량%의 화학적으로 결합된 염소의 중간 C1 수준을 갖는 제1단계 CPVC를 제조하는 충분한 촉매적 양의 유기 과산화 촉매 (이 촉매는 30 내지 130에서 10시간의 반감기를 갖는다)의 존재하에서 염소화시키고, 제2단계에서, 제1단계에서 제조된 CPVC를 90 내지 130℃의 온도에서, 화학량론적 양 이상이고, CPVC 최종 생성물을 제조하는데 필요한 양보다10% 미만까지 초과하는 양의 염소 존재하에서 추가로 염소화시키는 것을 포함하고, 67 내지75%의 염소 함량, 염소화된 폴리에틸렌, 및 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 충격변형제를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 화합물
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염소화된 폴리에틸렌이 상기 CPVC 수지 100중량부당 1 내지10중량부로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 충격 변형제가 상기 CPVC수지 100중량부당 1 내지 15중량부로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화합물이 ASTM D 1784 셀 분류 23447에 부합하거나 보다 우수함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 플라크로 형성되는 경우에 상기 화합물이 264psi에서 ASTM D 648에 따라 측정하여 260℉ 이상의 열, 편차 온도를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염소화된 폴리에틸렌이 상기CPVC수지100 중량부당.1 내지 10중량부로 존재하고, 상기 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 충격 변형제가 상기CPVC수지 100중량부당 1 내지 15중량부로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 67.3%의 염소 함량을 갖는 상기CPVC 수지 100중량부, 상기 염소화된 폴리에틸렌 4.0중량부 및 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 상기 충격 변형제4.0중량부를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서 제품으로 제조됨을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  9. 제1항에 있어서 70.6%의 염소 함유량을 갖는 상기, CPVC 수지100중량부, 상기 염소화된 폴리에틸렌 7.0중량부 및 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 상기 충격 변형제 4.0중량부룰 함유함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 69.5%의 염소 함량을 갖는 상기 CPVC 수지 100중량부, 상기 염소화된 폴리에틸렌 4.0중량부 및 폴리유기실록산을 함유하는 상기 충격 변형제 4.0중량부를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 화합물.
  11. ASTM D 1784 셀 분류 23447에 부합하거나 보다 우수하고, 플라크로 형성되는 경우에 264psi에서 ASTM D 648에 따라 측정하여 260℉ 이상의 열 편차 온도를 갖는 CPVC 화합물로부터 제조된 제품.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제품이 ASTM D 256-93A에 따자 측정하여 2.30피트-파운드/인치 이상의 노치된 아이조드를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 제품.
  13. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제품이 ASTM D2990에서 기재된 방법에 따라 15시간 이상 동안 에틸렌 글로콜중에서 응력 크래킹을 전혀 나타내지 않음을 특징으로 하는 제품.
  14. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제품이 ASTM D2990에서 기재된 방법에 따라 15시간 이상 동안 프로필렌 글로콜중에서 응력 크래킹을 전혀 나타내지 않음을 특징으로 하는 제품.
