Abstract

본 발명은, 결정상, 비결정상과의 사이에서 광학적특성이 다른 기록층을 사용한 기록매체에 관한 것으로, 특히 기판위에 형성된 상변화재료박막에, 예를 들면 레이저빔등의 고에너지빔을 조사하므로써 신호품질이 놓은 정보신호를 오버라이트할 수 있는 개서가능한 광학적정보기록매체에 관한 것으로서, 고선속, 고밀도의 오버라이트에 있어서 지터가 증대하지 않는 양호한 기록소거특성을 가지고, 반복특성이 양호한 광학적정보기록매체를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한 것이며, 그 구성에 있어서, 기판(1) 위에 적어도 레이저광의 조사에 의해 광학적특성이 다른 결정상과 비결정상과의 사이를 가역적으로 변화하는 기록층(3), 기록층의 상하에 제1유전체층(2) 및 제2유전체층(4), 제1 또는 제2유전체층의 기록층과 반대쪽에 제3유전체층(5)을 적층하고, 제3유전체층으로서 제1, 제2유전체층보다 열팽창계수가 작은 재료를 사용한 것을 특징으로 한 것이며, 이에 의해 제1 및 제2유전체층의 열변형을 작게하고, 기록박막의 물질이동을 억제하며, 반복특성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Claims (18)

  1. 기판위에, 광빔의 조사에 의해 광학적으로 검출가능한 2상태 사이에서 가역적으로 변화하는 기록층과, 상기 기록층의 양면쪽에 각각 제1유전체층 및 제2유전제층을 구비한 광학적정보기록매체로서, 상기 제1유전체층 및 제2유전체층으로부터 선택되는 적어도 한쪽의 층의 바깥쪽에 제3유전체층을 구비하고, 상기 제3유전체층이 상기 제1, 제2유전체층보다 열팽창계수가 작은 재료이고, 또한 금속반사층을 형성하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제3유전체의 열팽창계수가 2.0×10-6k-1이하의 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보 기록매체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 제3유전체층이, SiO2, TaO5, Nb2O5부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 무기산화물을 주성분으로하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 제3유전체층의 무기산화물주성분이 70~100몰%이고, 또한 부성분은 N, S, C, F, H로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소가 0~30몰% 범위가 첨가되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 제3유전체층의 두께가, 10~40mm의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 기록층, 제1유전체층 및 제2유전체층의 각각의 두께가 2~300mm의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2유전체층의 열팽창계수가 1.0×10-6k-1~30.0×의 10-6k-1범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2유전체층이, Al2O3, ZrO2, TiO2, AlN Si3N4, TiN, SiC, ZnS, PbS, ZnSe, CaF2로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 무기물을 주성분으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2유전체층에, 부성분으로 하는 SiO2, Ta2O5Nb2O5로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 무기산화물을 30몰% 이하 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2유전체층이, 70~100몰%의 ZnS와 30~0몰%의 SiO2의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 기록층이 Ge-Sb-Te, Ge-Sb-Te-Pd, Ge-Sb-Te-Bi, Ge-Sb-Te-Se, Ge-Te, Ge-Te-Bi, Ge-Te-Sn, Ge-Te-Bi-Se, Ge-Te-Sn-Au, Sb-Te, In-Sb-Te, Ag-In-Sb-Te 및 In-Se로부터 선택되는 각 칼코겐화합물, 또는 이들에게 질소, 산소, 유황, 탄소, 불소, 수소로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소를 첨가한 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 기록층이, Ge-Sb-Te계의 각 칼코겐화합물, 또는 이들에게 질소, 산소, 유황, 탄소, 불소, 수소로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소를 첨가한 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 기판이, 폴리카보네이트수지, 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트수지, 폴리올레핀수지, 유리로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  14. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광빔중에서, 상기 기록매체에 반사되는 비율(이하 반사율이라함) 및 상기 기록층에 흡수되는 비율(이하 흡수율이라함)을 상기 기록층이 결정상인 경우에는 Rcry 및 Acry, 비결정상인 경우에는 Ramo 및 Aamo로 하였을 때, 반사율차 △R=Rcry-Ramo가 15% 이상이고, 흡수율차 △A=Acry=Aamo가 5% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  15. 제1항에 있어서, 제3유전체층이, 제1 및 제2유전체층보다 굴절율이 작은 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학정보기록매체.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 제3유전체층의 굴절율 n이 1.2이상 1.8이하의 범위의 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  17. 제1항에 있어서, 기판쪽으로부터 측정되는 반사율이, 정보를 기록하기 전 및 후 다같이 50% 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 기판쪽으로부터 측정되는 반사율이, 정보를 기록하기 전 및 후 다같이 30% 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적정보기록매체.
