Abstract
에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠은 2개의 조향 휠 부분으로 구성되어 있고, 제1조향 휠 부분(10)은 스포크들과 패스너 플랜지 뿐만 아니라 외장을 갖춘 조향 휠 림을 구비하고, 제2조향 휠 부분(20)은 허브부(22)와 조향 샤프트(28)의 단부에 고정하기 위한 부시를 가진(허브부)를 구비한다. 상기 조향 휠 내부에 모듈(30)이 수용된다. 이 에어백 모듈(30)의 덮개(12a)는 조향 휠의 외장(12)에 합체된다.

Claims (5)
- 외장(21)이 마련된 조향 휠 본체를 구비하고, 조향 샤프트(28)에 고정하기 위한 허브부(22)와 조향 휠 림(14)과 그 허부부와 조향 휠 림을 연결하는 스포크들(18)로 이루어지고, 상기 본체는 에어백 모듈(30)을 장착하도록 배치되어 있으며, 상기 에어백 모듈은 접힌 에어백(32), 가스발생기(34), 및 에어백용 덮개(12a)를 구비하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠에 있어서, 상기 조향 휠 본체는 상기 연결되는 두부분(20,10)으로 이루어져 있고, 그중 한 부분(20)은 실질적으로 상기 허브부(22)에 의해 형성되고, 다른 한 부분(10)은 실질적으로 상기 조향 휠 림(14), 그 조향 휠 림에 합체되어 상기 덮개(12a)를 갖춘 상기 외장(12) 그리고 스포크들(18), 상기 허브부(22)용 패스너 플랜지(16)에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 허브부(22)가 제2조향 휠 부분의 상기 패스너 플랜지(16)에 적합한 패스터 플랜지(24)를 가지고, 두 조향휠 부분(10,20)은 상기 패스너플랜지(16,24)를 관통하는 보율트와 너트에 의해 서로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 허브부(22)는 외향 스플라인이 형성된 상기 조향 샤프트의 단부에 확실하게 체결식으로 장착가능한 내향 스플라인이 형성된 부시(26)를 가지고, 상기 허브부(22)는 잠금부(47)에 의해 상기 조향 샤프트(28)에 축방향으로 고정되어 있고, 이 구속부는 상기 허브부(22)를 향해 돌출한 상기 조향 샤프트(28)의 자유단에 있는 외주홈(44)과 맞물리는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 조향 휠.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 에어백 모듈(30)은 상기 조향 휠 부분(10,20)의 상기 패스너 플랜지(16,24)사이에 클램프할 수 있는 장착 플랜지(38)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠.
- 제2항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 상기 부시(26)는 나선형으로 감긴 접촉 스프링(20)을 적어도 하나 수용하기 위한 환상의 공간을 상기 부시(26)와 함께 형성하는 방사상으로 놓인 에이프런(46)에 의해 둘러싸이는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 억제 시스템이 합체된 차량의 조향 휠.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
