Claims (29)
- 폐기물을 고온 플라즈마 아아크에 넣어서 폐기물을 원자화 및 분자화시키고, 반응실에서 원자화되고 이온화된 폐기물을 냉각시켜서 가스 생성물과 특수 물질을 포함하는 재결합된 생성물들을 형성하고, 알칼리성 액체를 분무하여 재결합된 생성물을 퀀칭하고 특수물질을 젖게하여 중성화 시키며, 재결합된 생성물로 부터 가스 생성물을 추출하고, 추출된 가스 생성물들을 연소시키는 것으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 폐기물을 열분해 파괴하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제1항에 있어서, 폐기물을 직접 플라즈마 아아크에 제출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제2항에 있어서, 반응실의 온도를 조절하기 위하여 폐기물의 공급속도와 플라즈마 아아크에의 전력입력의 하나를 조절하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제1항에 있어서, 재결합된 생성물들의 내용을 탐지하여 위험성분이 설정된 제한치 이상의 량으로 검출되면 폐기물 공급을 중단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제3항에 있어서, 반응실의 온도는 900-1200℃의 범위에서 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제1항에 있어서, 처음에 재결합된 생성물의 조성을 예견하고, 바람직하지 못한 생성물이 예견되면 파괴될 폐기물의 내용을 변경하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.

- 청구범위 제8항에 있어서, 재결합된 생성물들을 유도팬을 사용하여 추출함으로써 반응실로부터 제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제1항에 있어서, 반응실의 압력은 대체로 대기압인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 청구범위 제8항에 있어서, 기계적인 가스세정기를 통해 재결합된 새성물을 끌어냄으로써 가스 생성물이 재결합된 생성물로 부터 추출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.

- 최소한 2개의 선형 중공 전국들과 그 사이의 플라즈마 아아크를 안정화하는 장치를 포함하는 플라즈마 연소기, 상기 플라즈마 아아크를 발생하는 전극들에 연결된 전원과 상기 전극들을 냉각시키는 냉각장치들, 플라즈마 연소기에 연결되어 있으며, 상기 플라즈마 아아크를 수납하는 내화재를 안에 댄 반응실을 지니는 반응용기, 폐기물이 원자화되고 이온화되어 반응실에서 재결합된 생성물로 재결합되도록 폐기물을 플라즈마 아아크에 넣는 장치, 상기 재결합된 생성물들을 제거하는 출구를 포함하는 방응용기, 반응 용기출구와 통하는 분무링, 상기 재결합된 생성물들을 퀀칭하고 중화시키는 분무링에 연결되어 통하는 알칼리성 액체의 가압된 공급원, 재결합된 생성물과 액체 특수 물질로부터 가스 생성물을 분리시키는 분무링의 출구와 통하는 가스 세정기, 상기 가스 세정기로 부터 가스 생성물과 액체 특수 물질을 제거하는 세정기에 연결된 장치들 등으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 폐기물을 열분해 파괴하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 폐기물을 플라즈마 아아크에 넣는 장치들은 폐기물을 플라즈마 아아크에 직접 주입시키도록 중공 전극들 사이에 동일측방향으로 설치된 환형 인입구링을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 반응용기는 플라즈마 연소시로부터 나오는 플라즈마 아아크를 수납하기 위하여 플라즈마 연소기전극들과 통하도록 동일축방향으로 연결된 중공 흑연원통을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제18항에 있어서, 반응용기는 플라즈마 아아크를 수납하도록 플라즈마 연소기로부터 축방향으로 이격되어 있으며 반응 용기출구를 한정하는 횡방향 출구구멍을 지니는 흑연 출구 보호물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 분무링은 상기 재결합된 생성물을 퀀칭시키기 위하여 알칼리성 액체를 분무시키도록 알칼리 액체공급원과 통하는 다수의 내측으로 향한 분무 노즐들을 지니는 중공 원통형의 슬리브를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 가스 세정기는 액체 특수 물질로부터 가스 생성물을 분리시키도록 재결합된 생성물의 흐름속에 삼입된 것(vane)과 조절판(baffle)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 가스 세정기로부터 가스 생성물과 액체 특수물질을 제거하는 장치들은 가스 세정기로부터 가스 생성물을 빼내는 유도팬을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 정해진 폐기물을 플라즈마 아아크에 넣도록 재결합된 생성물의 조성을 예견하는 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제22항에 있어서, 유도팬으로 전달된 가스 생성물의 조성을 탐지하는 장치를 포함하며 폐기물을 플라즈마 아아크에 넣는 장치는 밸밸를 포함하고, 상기 탐지장치는 가스생성물에서 위험한 성분이 설정된 제한치 이상으로 검출되면 폐기물의 삽입을 차단하도록 작동할 수 있게 밸브에 연결된 것 등을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 22항에 있어서, 활성탄 필터, 유도팬과 탄소필터 사이에 연결된 밸브장치들을 포함하고, 상기 밸브장치는 전력이 정전될 때 가스 생성물의 흐름을 탄소필터를 통하여 흐르게 하도록 작동될 수 있는 것 등을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제16항에 있어서, 전극들을 냉각시키는 냉각장치는 물탱크와, 플라즈마 연소기 전극들과 물탱크를 통하는 통로의 폐쇄 순환회로와, 전극들을 냉각시키기 위하여 냉각수를 폐쇄회로를 통하여 순환시키는 펌프등을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제26항에 있어서, 냉각장치는 물탱크를 가압하는 장치와, 정전하에서 냉각수의 흐름이 계속되도록 작동할 수 있는 밸브장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 청구범위 제26항에 있어서, 냉각장치는 탈 이온화된 냉각수를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
