Abstract

An apparatus for mounting a head lamp is provided to reducing the injury of a pedestrian upon being collided against the head lamp of a vehicle by using a notch formed on a rib for reinforcing a bumper cover member. A bumper cover member(4) is inserted into a cover of a head lamp(2), thereby supporting the head lamp. A rib(6) is provided for reinforcing the bumper cover member. A notch(7) is formed on the rib in order to induce fracture of the bumper cover member supporting the head lamp when a pedestrian is collided against the head lamp. The fracture of the bumper cover member reduces injury of the pedestrian.
