図、第3図〜第7図は各々従来のドリルを示す切
刃の外周における横断面図、第8図〜第11図は
この考案に係るドリルを用いた実験結果を示すも
ので、第8図は切削時の負荷の値を示すグラフ、
第9図は各切削条件における加工穴の面粗さと拡
大代を示す図、第10図は連続して多数の穴を加
工した際の加工穴の面粗さと拡大代の変化を示す
図、第11図は再研摩後に再び連続して多数の穴
を加工した際の加工穴の面粗さと拡大代の変化を
示す図である。 30……ドリル本体、31……切刃、32……
切屑排出溝、33……すくい面を構成する部分、
34……切刃側を向く部分、W……心厚、R
……円弧の半径、D……ドリルの直径。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ドリル本体の先端部に2つの切刃を形成すると
    ともに、これら2つの切刃に対応して前記ドリル
    本体の外周に2つの切屑排出溝を形成してなるド
    リルにおいて、前記ドリル本体の心厚を0.25
    D〜0.50D(Dはドリルの直径)に設定し、
    前記切屑排出溝を画成する壁面のうちすくい面を
    構成する部分を回転方向に対して半径が0.20
    D〜0.30Dの円弧状に窪む凹曲面によつて形
    成するとともに、切刃側を向く部分を半径が0.
    25D〜0.40Dの円弧状に切刃側に向かつて
    突出する凸曲面によつて形成し、かつ少なくとも
    上記切刃部分に上記ドリル本体より硬質な被覆層
    を形成したことを特徴とするドリル。
