Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable accurate speed control with a simple constitution, by amplifying the variance detection signal of the photosensitive drum drive speed in response to the speed ratio and adding it to the lens scan drive control reference voltage corresponding to the speed ratio. CONSTITUTION:The speed of the photosensitive drum drive section is detected at a speed detector 28, and the signal in response to the variance from a given speed is produced via the frequency-voltage conversion circuit 30 and level shift circuit 32, and it is amplified at the amplifier 33 in which the amplification factor is changed according to the set speed range via the magnification set circuit 37. This signal is added to the reference voltage in response to the set speed ratio output at the reference voltage set circuit 34, and it is compared with the detected speed signal of the lens scan drive linear motor 41 outputted at the 2nd frequency-voltage conversion circuit 31 and fed as the set voltage to the comparator 38 in feedback control of the motor 41. Thus, the speed detection of the 1st drive section such as photosensitive drum is not required with high resolution and accurate speed control even at speed change can be made with a simple constitution.
