Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the low cost of a countermeasure at the leading edge of a fluorescent lamp and to prevent the variation in optical outputs after stabilization by detecting the illuminance of the fluorescent lamp and controlling a scanning velocity so that the fluorescent lamp is always kept constant in response to the detected illuminance. CONSTITUTION:The illuminance of the fluorescent lamp 12 is detected by a detector 1 and amplified by an amplifier 2, then transmitted to a computing element 3. If the illuminance is small, the computing element 3 outputs an output signal for slowly driving a motor 5 and if the illuminance is large, it outputs the output signal for quickly driving the motor 5 and controls a negative sheet carried with the driving of the motor 5 so that the exposure exposed on an exposure drum is always kept constant. Thus, the countermeasure of the leading edge of the fluorescent lamp can be effectively obtained at a low cost and also the variation in optical output after stabilization can be removed.
