Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically adjust coarseness and denseness of recording point groups in a printer of an ink jet recording system by providing therein frequency control means for automatically varying the frequency of an electrical signal to be applied to recording point forming means which functions in response to the quantity of changing analog input signal. CONSTITUTION:The printer of the ink jet recording system comprises an oscillator 1 for generating an excitation frequency for forming recording points on a recording paper, and a driving part 2 for applying the output of the oscillator 1 to recording point forming means 4. This printer is provided with a frequency control part 5 for automatically varying the frequency of an electrical signal to be applied to recording point forming means 4. By this construction the coarseness and denseness of the recording point groups on the recording paper can be automatically adjusted in the optimum recording state even when the analog signal input is rapidly varied, and delicate recording can be made by following up the variation.
