Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable picture by a method wherein the AC voltage having a given frequency is impressed on an accelerating electrode overlappingly with the acceleration voltage in jetting ink-jet particles from a nozzle, etc., thus the ink-jet particles being stabilized. CONSTITUTION:An ink-jet recording device is formed by a controlling electrode 3 provided near to a nozzle or slit 2 and by an accelerating electrode 5 provided on the front or back surface of recording paper 4. A picture signal being given to the controlling electrode 5 and the AC voltage of a given frequency being impressed on the accelerating electrode 5 overlappingly with the acceleration voltage, ink-jet particles are jetted from the nozzle or slit 2, thereby recording being performed on the recording paper 4. When the AC signal is impressed on the accelerating electrode 5 overlappingly with the acceleration voltage, the frequency of a source 9 of AC signal is synchronized with the recording signal. By this, the ink-jet particles are stabilized and thus a stable picture can be obtained.
