PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the efficiency of a dryer by using equipment consisting of a sorter for sorting rubbish crushed in a crusher into smaller pieces of kitchen garbage, paper, etc., having high water content and larger pieces of plastics, rubbers, etc., having low water content, a dryer for drying the sorted smaller pieces, and a forming machine for forming the dried smaller pieces and the larger pieces of low water content into a solid fuel. SOLUTION: Rubbish 3 comprising, e.g. kitchen garbage, paper, plastics and rubbers, thrown from a rubbish car 2 is fed on a feeding conveyer 1 into a crusher 4.
