(Structure of the invention) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a back door in which the glass hatch is pivoted to the vehicle body so as to be movable up and down by a hinge member connecting the upper side of the glass hatch and the rear end of the roof of the vehicle body. A rain guide protrusion is provided on the upper side of the glass hatch, and a water guide gutter made of a soft elastic material is connected to the rain guide protrusion so that the water guide path is continuous, and this water guide gutter is installed after the roof. The water guide gutter is made to protrude toward the end and is arranged inside the hinge member, and when the glass hatch is rotated above a horizontal plane, the tip of the water guide gutter comes into contact with the rear end of the roof,
A structure of a back door for an automobile, characterized in that rainwater accumulated on a glass hatch is transmitted to a rain guide protrusion, collected in the water guide gutter, and then transmitted from the water guide gutter to the rear end of the roof. This is what we provide.

A rain guide protrusion 5 made of a soft elastic material such as rubber or soft synthetic resin is attached around the glass hatch 1 by adhesive or the like. The height of the convex portion 5a of the rain guide convex strip 5 is such that when the glass hatch 1 is rotated beyond the horizontal plane, as shown by the solid line in FIG. It is determined by the degree.

A pair of left and right water guide gutters 6, 6 are integrally formed on the rain guide protrusion 5, and these water guide gutters 6,6
is formed to protrude toward the rear end portion 3 of the roof. As shown in FIG. 2, the inlet portion 7 of the water guide gutter 6 is open so that rainwater collected by the rain guide protrusion 5 can easily flow into the water guide gutter 6. Further, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 1, the amount of protrusion of the water guide gutter 6 is determined so that when the glass hatch 1 is rotated beyond the horizontal plane, its tip 8 comes into contact with the rear end portion 3 of the roof. ing. The water guide gutters 6, 6 are formed inside the hinge member 4 at a position hidden below the hinge member 4 to improve the appearance.

Also, in FIG. 1, 9 is the back door opening, 10
A weather strip is disposed around the weather strip, and a water guide groove 11 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the weather strip to guide rainwater traveling along the roof rear end 3 to the ground. Further, 12 is a fixed side portion of the hinge member 4, 13 is a rotating side portion of the hinge member 4, and 14 is a pivot for supporting the rotating side portion 13 on the fixed side portion 12.

Thus, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 1, when the glass hatch 1 is rotated above the horizontal plane, the rainwater collected on the glass hatch 1 passes through the rain guide ridge 5 and is collected in the water guide gutter 6. Then, after being transmitted from the water guide gutter 6 to the roof rear end 3,
Since the rainwater is guided to the ground by the water-conducting groove 11 of the weather strip 10, it is possible to reliably prevent the rainwater from entering the vehicle interior through the back door opening 9.

Further, while the glass hatch 1 is being rotated from the closed door state shown by the phantom line in FIG. 1 to the open door state shown by the solid line in FIG. However, since the water guide gutter 6 is made of a soft elastic material, it is easily deformed and the glass hatch 1 can be rotated smoothly. Further, when the state shown by the solid line in FIG. 1 is reached, the water guide gutter 6 is restored and its tip 8 comes into pressure contact with the rear end portion 3 of the roof.

The present invention can be configured in various ways other than those shown in the above embodiments. For example, the rain guide protrusion 5 may be provided only on the upper side of the glass hatch 1, and its material is not limited to a soft elastic material. Further, the water guide gutter 6 may be formed separately from the rain guide protrusion 5 and may be formed so as to be continuous therewith, but the material thereof must be a soft elastic material.

(Effects of the invention) The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and when the glass hatch is rotated above the horizontal plane, rainwater accumulated on it is removed from the rear end of the roof of the vehicle body by the rain guide protrusion and the water guide gutter. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the rainwater from flowing into the vehicle interior.

Furthermore, since the water guide gutter is made of a soft elastic material, it does not interfere with the opening and closing of the glass hatch. Furthermore, since the water guide gutter is housed inside the hinge member and is not visible from the outside, the appearance can be improved. For example, if rainwater is conducted from the water gutter to the body, colored traces may remain on the body due to the components of the soft elastic material dissolving in the rainwater, but these can be hidden under the hinge member. Therefore, the appearance of the car body will not be damaged.
