Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 1.繊維−樹脂複合材料の製造方法であって、(a)熱硬化性樹脂成分を混合温 度にて混合することにより該混合温度より高いゲル温度においてゲルを形成する 熱硬化性樹脂を形成せしめ; (b)前記温度と前記ゲル温度との間の温度において前記熱硬化性樹脂に溶解す る熱可塑性材料の固体粒子を前記熱硬化性樹脂に分散せしめ; (c)前記分散体により繊維マトリクスを含浸せしめ;(d)前記熱硬化性樹脂 を硬化せしめ;そして(e)前記熱硬化性樹脂を周囲温度に冷却する;ことを含 んで成る方法。
- 2.前記熱硬化性樹脂成分がビスマレイミドを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.前記熱硬化性樹脂が前記熱硬化性樹脂材料のガラス転移温度より20℃も低 くないガラス転移温度を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 4.前記熱可塑性材料及び前記熱硬化性材料の両者が2(cal/cc)1/2 以上離れていない溶解度パラメーターを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 5.前記熱硬化性樹脂成分が4,4′−ビスマレイミドジフェニルメタン及び0 ,0′−ジアリルビスフェノールAを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 6.前記熱硬化性樹脂成分がビスマレイミド及びアルテニルフェノールを含み、 そして前記熱可塑性材料が熱可塑性ポリイミドである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 7.前記熱硬化性樹脂成分がビスマレイミド及びアルケニルフェノールを含み、 そして前記熱可塑性材料がベンゾフェノンテトラカルボン酸二無水物及び5(6 )−アミノ−1−(4′−アミノフェニル)−1,3−トリメチルインダンから 形成された熱可塑性ポリイミドである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 8.前記熱硬化性樹脂成分が4,4′−ビスマレイミドフェニルメタン及び0, 0′−ジアリルビスフェノールAを含み、そして前記熱可塑性材料がベンゾフェ ノンテトラカルボン酸二無水物及び5(6)−アミノ−1−(4′−アミノフェ ニル)−1,3−トリメチルインダンから形成されたポリイミドである、請求項 1に記載の方法。
- 9.前記固体粒子が前記ゲル温度の50°F内の温度において前記熱硬化性樹脂 に溶解し、該ゲル温度が約300°F〜約400°Fである、請求項1に記載の 方法。
- 10.前記粒子が約10ミクロン〜約20ミクロンの直径を有し、そして前記熱 硬化性樹脂成分100重量部に対して約5〜約20重量部を占める、請求項1に 記載の方法。
