Description
本発明の第1実施形態の第1の態様の波長選択型光受信装置11は、例えばFTTH、モバイルサービス等を提供するための光アクセスシステムに用いられる。図1に示す光ファイバ101は、光アクセスシステムにおいて複数の波長チャネルの光を含む波長多重光信号203を伝送する。光ファイバ101のコア102の出射面103からは、互いに異なる波長又は波長帯の光を含む波長多重光信号203が出射される。波長多重光信号203に含まれる互いに異なる波長又は波長帯の光には、互いに異なる波長チャネルが割り当てられている。波長多重光信号203に含まれる互いに異なる波長又は波長帯の光は、各波長チャネルに応じたデータで符号化されている。
なお、第1~3の態様においては、集光レンズ111を、第4,5の態様においては、コリメートレンズ112を、それぞれ筐体41の内部43に配置してもよい。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態の波長選択型光送受信装置(波長選択型光受信装置)16について説明する。波長選択型光送受信装置16は、第1実施形態の波長選択型光受信装置11等と同様に、例えばFTTH、モバイルサービス等を提供するための光アクセスシステムに用いられる。波長選択型光送受信装置16は、受光素子21、基台31、光フィルタ(第1光フィルタ)71、集光レンズ113に加え、発光素子2、基台3、筐体41に替わる筐体46、コリメートレンズ112,集光レンズ114、光フィルタ(第2光フィルタ)72を備えている。

Claims (7)
- 第1光信号を電気信号に変換して前記電気信号を出力する受光素子と、
前記受光素子が設けられた基台と、
前記基台に設置されて前記基台と共に前記受光素子を囲み、前記第1光信号を含み且つ前記第1光信号の第1波長とは異なる波長の第2光信号を含む第3光信号を通す第1窓が設けられた筐体と、
前記第3光信号の光軸に沿って前記第1窓と前記受光素子との間の前記筐体の内部に配置され、入射する前記第3光信号のうち、前記第1光信号を前記受光素子に向けて出射し、且つ前記第2光信号を前記第3光信号の進行方向の手前側に反射する第1光フィルタと、
を備え、
前記筐体に前記第2光信号を通す第2窓が設けられ 、
前記第1窓は、前記筐体において前記第3光信号の通過領域に形成された第1の開口、又は前記筐体において前記第3光信号の通過領域に、隣接する前記筐体の壁面に沿って配置された第1の板状の素材で構成され、
前記第2窓は、前記筐体において前記第1光フィルタによって反射された前記第2光信号の通過領域に形成された第2の開口、又は前記筐体において前記第1光フィルタによって反射された前記第2光信号の通過領域に、隣接する前記筐体の壁面に沿って配置された第2の板状の素材で構成され、
前記第1の板状の素材及び前記第2の板状の素材は前記第3光信号を透過す る、
波長選択型光受信装置。 - 前記第1窓と前記第2窓は、前記筐体の壁面に沿って互いに隣接している、
請求項1に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。 - 前記第1窓と前記第2窓は、前記筐体の壁面に沿って互いに離れている、
請求項1に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。 - 前記第1光フィルタは、前記第1波長を任意に変更可能な波長可変フィルタである、
請求項1又は2に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。 - 前記第3光信号の光軸に対する前記第1光フィルタの角度を変えることによって前記第1波長が変化する、
請求項4に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。 - 前記第1光フィルタから出射された前記第1光信号を前記受光素子の受光面に集光する集光レンズをさらに備える、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。 - 送信光信号を出力する発光素子と、
前記第3光信号の光軸に沿って前記第1窓と前記第1光フィルタとの間の前記筐体の内部に配置され、前記第3光信号を前記第1光フィルタに向けて出射し、且つ前記送信光信号を前記第1窓に向けて出射する第2光フィルタと、
をさらに備える、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の波長選択型光受信装置。
