Description

(4)炭酸カルシウムM.B(40~70%)10~15重量%;
(5)酸化防止剤 1~5重量%、好ましくは1~2重量%;
(6)ミスト粉M.B(10~70%)4~75重量%;好ましくは8~55重量%;
(7)熱可塑性エラストマー 0~25重量%、好ましくは5~20重量%。
(2)ポリエチレン 0~30重量%、好ましくは1~15重量%。
(3)二酸化チタンM.B(30~60%) 10~15重量%
(4)炭酸カルシウムM.B(40~70%) 10~15重量%;
(5)業界で一般的に使用される酸化防止剤 1~5重量%、好ましくは1~2重量%
(6)ミスト粉M.B(10~70%) 4~75重量%、好ましくは8~55重量%
(7)熱可塑性エラストマー0~25重量%、好ましくは5~20重量%
TAPPI T480標準を使用して、紙の光沢を75°で測定する。
TAPPI T-555 pm-94標準を使用して粗さを測定する。
凝集物が人間の目で印刷表面層(または最も外側の紙層)に存在するかどうかを観察する。
凝集体が印刷表面層に現れる場合、組成物の分散性は低く、逆の場合、組成物の分散性は良好であることと表示されている。
印刷表面層(または最も外側の紙層)に発泡欠陥があるかどうかは、人間の目で観察される。
印刷表面層が発泡している場合、印刷表面層のフィルム表面の発泡性が低く、逆の場合、印刷表面層のフィルム表面の発泡特性は良好であることと表示されている。
ホットメルト状態に共押しされた積層製品が、冷却成形装置によって急速に冷却された後、最初の冷却ホイールのホイール表面に付着するかどうかは、人間の目で観察される。
積層製品がホイール表面に付いている場合が、ホイール表面の付着性が悪く、逆の場合がホイール表面の付着性が良いと表示されている。
印刷表面層(または最も外側の紙層)に凹状の欠陥があるかどうかは、人間の目で観察される。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B8重量%、ポリプロピレン57重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれている。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B16重量%、ポリプロピレン40重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B4重量%、ポリプロピレン61重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B15重量%、ポリプロピレン50重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B40重量%、ポリプロピレン25重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B55重量%、ポリプロピレン10重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B55重量%、熱可塑性エラストマー6重量%、ポリプロピレン4重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照すると、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料として、ミスト粉M.B55重量%、熱可塑性エラストマー10重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照して、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料を仕込んだが、ミスト粉と熱可塑性エラストマーは使用されずに、原料として、ポリプロピレン65重量%、二酸化チタンM.B15重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
表1の原料配合を参照して、合成紙の印刷表面層の原料を仕込んだが、ミスト粉と熱可塑性エラストマーは使用されずに、原料として、ポリプロピレン45重量%、ポリエチレンの20重量%、二酸化チタンM.B重量%、炭酸カルシウムM.B15重量%、および酸化防止剤M.B5重量%が含まれた。
2、第7から8の実施例の印刷表面層の原料には、ミスト粉と熱可塑性エラストマーが添加されて使用され、調製された合成紙の印刷表面層は、ピット欠陥がなく、表面に均一な曇りがあるだけでなく、光沢度が高く、ヘイズが低いため、印刷適性に優れ、印刷に適している。
第1及び第2の比較例の印刷表面層の原料には、ミスト粉または熱可塑性エラストマーは添加されず、得られた合成紙の印刷表面層は、表面に多数のピット欠陥を有するだけでなく、高い光沢と低ヘイズを有し、印刷紙としては適していない。

Claims (10)
- 最も外側の紙層として印刷表面層を含み、厚さが25~300μmの多層積層構造として構成されるマット合成紙であって、前記印刷表面層(または最外層紙層)の総重量に基づいて、前記印刷表面層は、
(1)ポリプロピレン0~66重量%、
(2)ポリエチレン0~30重量%、
(3)二酸化チタンが30~60%含まれるマスターバッチ10~15重量%、
(4)炭酸カルシウムが40~70%含まれるマスターバッチ10~15重量%、
(5)酸化防止剤1~5重量%、
(6)酸化ケイ素、タルク粉または硫酸バリウムからなる群から選ばれる一種以上で構成されるミスト粉が10~70%含まれるマスターバッチ8~55重量%、及び
(7)熱可塑性エラストマー5~20重量%、
を各成分の総組成が重量で100%となるように含んで、
TAPPI T480で測定した前記印刷表面層の光沢値が15~50%である、ことを特徴とする、マット合成紙。 - 前記印刷表面層は、
(1)ポリプロピレン2~65重量%、
(2)ポリエチレン1~15重量%、
(3)二酸化チタンが30~60%含まれるマスターバッチ10~15重量%、
(4)炭酸カルシウムが40~70%含まれるマスターバッチ10~15重量%、
(5)酸化防止剤1~5重量%、
(6)酸化ケイ素、タルク粉または硫酸バリウムからなる群から選ばれる一種以上で構成されるミスト粉が10~70%含まれるマスターバッチ8~55重量%、及び
(7)熱可塑性エラストマー5~20重量%
を各成分の総組成が重量で100%となるように含む、請求項1に記載のマット合成紙。 - 前記マット合成紙は、3層以上の積層構造を有する合成紙である、請求項1又は2に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記マット合成紙は、5層以上の積層構造を有する合成紙である、請求項1又は2に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記ミスト粉が10~70%含まれるマスターバッチの主成分は酸化ケイ素であり、その他の成分にはタルク粉末と硫酸バリウムが含まれる、請求項1又は2に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記熱可塑性エラストマーは、融点が60°C未満の熱可塑性エラストマーから選択されるものである、請求項1又は2に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記熱可塑性エラストマーは、スチレン系ブロックコポリマー(TPE-S)、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンエラストマー(TPO)、または熱可塑性加硫物(TPV)から成る群から選ばれる一種以上である、請求項6に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマー(TPE-S)は、スチレン-ブタジエン-スチレンエラストマー(SBS)またはスチレン-エチレン/ブチレン-スチレンエラストマー(SEBS)から成る群から選ばれるものである、請求項7に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリオレフィンエラストマー(TPO)は、エチレンアルファオレフィンコポリマーまたはポリオレフィンエラストマーから成る群から選ばれる、請求項7に記載のマット合成紙。
- 前記熱可塑性加硫物(TPV)はPM/EPDMゴムである、請求項7に記載のマット合成紙。
