Description

Claims (10)
- ユーザインタラクションなしにビデオプレーヤにおける故障に全面的に対処するシステムであって、該システムは、
複数の電子ディスプレイアセンブリであって、前記複数の電子ディスプレイアセンブリの各々が、
電子ディスプレイと、
前記電子ディスプレイに電気的に接続され、ネットワークインターフェース構成要素を備えるシステム制御基板と、
前記システム制御基板に電気的に接続された少なくとも1つのビデオプレーヤと、
を備える、前記複数の電子ディスプレイアセンブリと、
それぞれの各電子ディスプレイアセンブリの前記ネットワークインターフェース構成要素と電気的に通信可能であるネットワークオペレーションセンターであって、前記複数の電子ディスプレイアセンブリから遠隔に位置している前記ネットワークオペレーションセンターと、
を備え、
前記システム制御基板の各々は、前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していない場合に、前記ビデオプレーヤに再起動の指示を送信することによって電源ボタンの短押しをシミュレートし、その後、前記電源ボタンの短押しのシミュレート後に前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していないままである場合に、前記ビデオプレーヤに強制再起動の指示を送信することによって前記電源ボタンの長押しをシミュレートするように構成され、
前記ネットワークインターフェース構成要素の各々は、前記システム制御基板を介して前記ビデオプレーヤへの電源に電気的に接続され、その結果、前記システム制御基板の各々は、前記ビデオプレーヤの前記電源ボタンの長押しのシミュレート後に前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していないままである場合に、前記ビデオプレーヤに供給される電力を除去し、所定の時間待機し、前記ビデオプレーヤに電力を供給することを再開するように構成される、システム。 - 前記システム制御基板は、前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していないことを決定する時に、停止時間事象を記憶するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システム制御基板は、前記停止時間事象を前記ネットワークオペレーションセンターに送信するように構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の電子ディスプレイアセンブリの各々は、第1及び第2の前記ビデオプレーヤを備え、
それぞれの各電子ディスプレイアセンブリ用の前記システム制御基板は、前記第1及び第2の前記ビデオプレーヤのうちの、1つの前記ビデオプレーヤを1次として指定し、他の前記ビデオプレーヤを2次として指定するように構成され、
それぞれの各電子ディスプレイアセンブリ用の前記システム制御基板は、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤを使用して電子ディスプレイを駆動するように構成され、
それぞれの各電子ディスプレイアセンブリ用の前記システム制御基板は、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していない場合、前記2次の前記ビデオプレーヤに切り替えるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - それぞれの各電子ディスプレイアセンブリ用の前記システム制御基板は、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤに供給された電力を除去し、所定の時間待機し、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤに電力を供給することを再開した後に前記第1次の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していない場合に、前記2次の前記ビデオプレーヤに切り替えるように構成される、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 該システムは、前記2次の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信しておらず、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信している場合、前記1次の前記ビデオプレーヤにスイッチバックするように構成される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- ユーザとのインタラクションなしにビデオプレーヤにおける故障に全面的に対処する方法であって、該方法は、
各々が、電子ディスプレイと、システム制御基板と、ビデオプレーヤと、を備える、複数のディスプレイアセンブリであって、前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリの各々が遠隔のネットワークオペレーションセンターと電気的に通信可能である、前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリを提供すること、
前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリの各々に電力を供給すること、
前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリの各々が起動可能である時間を設定すること、
それぞれの各ビデオプレーヤを監視して前記ビデオプレーヤが通信しているかどうかを決定すること、
前記ビデオプレーヤうちの1つが通信していないことを決定する時に、前記ネットワークオペレーションセンターに停止時間事象を通知すること、
前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していない場合、その非通信のビデオプレーヤに、前記ビデオプレーヤに再起動の指示を送信することによって電源ボタンの短押しのシミュレートを指示すること、
前記電源ボタンの短押しのシミュレート後に前記非通信の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していないままである場合に、前記非通信の前記ビデオプレーヤに強制再起動の指示を送信することによって前記電源ボタンの長押しのシミュレートを指示すること、および、
前記電源ボタンの長押しのシミュレート後に前記非通信の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していないままである場合に、
前記非通信の前記ビデオプレーヤに電力を供給することを止めること、
所定時間待機すること、および
前記非通信の前記ビデオプレーヤに電力を再供給すること、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ネットワークオペレーションセンターに前記停止時間事象を通知することは、
前記システム制御基板に前記停止時間事象を記録すること、および
前記停止時間事象を前記ネットワークオペレーションセンターに送信すること、
を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリの各々は、2次のビデオプレーヤをさらに備える、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記2次の前記ビデオプレーヤが通信していない場合、前記2次の前記ビデオプレーヤで前記電子ディスプレイが動くように、前記複数のディスプレイアセンブリの各々に指示すること、
をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
