Abstract
Description
尚、上記の実施形態では、第1樹脂からなる発泡体の外面を第2樹脂のフィルムで被覆しているが、第2樹脂のフィルムはなくても良い。この場合、上記の実施形態で説明したダイ(図4参照)を用い、ダイへの第2樹脂の供給を行わないことによって第2樹脂のフィルムのない発泡樹脂チューブを製造することができる。また、第2樹脂フィルムのない発泡樹脂チューブを製造する場合には、第1供給口及び第1流路を有し、第2供給口及び第2流路のないダイと、上述した第1樹脂押出部及び成型装置とで製造装置を構成してもよい。第2樹脂フィルムを設けない場合においても、第1樹脂の発泡と、表面にエンボス模様を有するチューブ形状への成型とを同時に行うことにより、図6で説明した従来の製造方法と比べて製造工程数を大幅に低減することができる。また、樹脂を直接管状に成型することにより、断面形状の歪みを低減して真円に近付けることができるため、美観に優れた発泡樹脂チューブを製造できる。

Claims (5)
- 管形状を有し、発泡倍率が20〜30倍である樹脂発泡体と、前記樹脂発泡体の表面を覆うフィルムとを有し、表面にエンボス模様が形成された発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置であって、
環状の第1吐出口と、前記第1吐出口に連通する第1流路と、前記第1吐出口を取り囲むように配置される環状の第2吐出口と、前記第2吐出口に連通し、前記第1流路を取り囲むように配置される第2流路とを有するダイと、
熱可塑性の第1樹脂を溶融混練し、溶融した前記第1樹脂に発泡剤を混合して前記ダイの前記第1流路に供給する第1樹脂供給部と、
熱可塑性の第2樹脂を溶融混練し、溶融した前記第2樹脂を前記第1樹脂より高い温度で前記ダイの前記第2流路に供給する第2樹脂供給部と、
前記発泡樹脂チューブの外面形状の一部と対応する凹部を有する複数の第1金型と前記発泡樹脂チューブの外面形状の他の一部と対応する凹部を有する複数の第2金型とを用いて、真空成型またはエアによる加圧成型を行うことにより、前記ダイの前記第1吐出口から吐出された前記第1樹脂を管状に成型すると共に前記エンボス模様を形成する成型装置とを備え、
前記ダイは、
マンドレルと、
前記マンドレルの外側を所定の隙間を空けて取り囲む管状の第1ダイスと、
前記第1ダイスの外側を所定の隙間を空けて取り囲む管状の第2ダイスとを含み、
前記マンドレルと前記第1ダイスとの間の隙間により前記第1吐出口及び前記第1流路が構成され、
前記第1ダイスと前記第2ダイスとの間の隙間により前記第2吐出口及び前記第2流路が構成され、
前記ダイの前記第1吐出口及び前記第2吐出口は、前記第1金型の凹部と前記第2金型の凹部との間に挟まれた成型空間内に配置され、
前記第1ダイスの内部には、前記第1流路と前記第2流路との間を断熱する断熱層が設けられる、発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置。 - 前記断熱層が、前記第1流路を取り囲むように設けられる、請求項1に記載の発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置。
- 前記断熱層が、少なくとも、径方向における前記第1ダイスの厚みが一定の部分に設けられる、請求項2に記載の発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置。
- 前記第1ダイスは、
前記第1ダイスの内周面を構成する筒状の内側分割体と、
前記第1ダイスの外周面を構成する筒状の外側分割体とからなり、
前記内側分割体の外周面と前記外側分割体の内周面との間に、筒状の密閉空間が構成されており、空気が封入された当該密閉空間により前記断熱層が構成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置。 - 前記内側分割体の外周面及び前記外側分割体の内周面の少なくとも一方に設けた凹部により、前記密閉空間が構成される、請求項4に記載の発泡樹脂チューブの製造装置。
