Description
外歯(24a)を複数有し、アウタギアとは偏心方向(De)に偏心して噛合するインナギア(20)と、
アウタギア及びインナギアを回転可能に収容するポンプハウジング(10)とを備え、
アウタギア及びインナギアは、それら両ギア間に複数形成されるポンプ室(40)の容積を拡縮させつつ回転することにより、燃料を各ポンプ室に順次吸入し、
インナギアは、
当該インナギアの軸方向両側において、外歯を含む外周部(24)にそれぞれ環状に設けられ、ポンプハウジングに摺動する摺動面部(25)と、
各摺動面部よりも内周側にそれぞれ設けられ、燃料の流入する燃料室(58)をポンプハウジングとの間に形成する凹部(26)と、
各凹部の間を連通する連通孔(27)と、
連通孔において凹部と連通する開口の縁部である連通縁部(28)のうち、インナギアの回転進行側の縁部に、摺動面の内周縁部(25a)と隣接する隣接箇所(28a,28b,28c)を避けて設けられ、連通孔の中心部に向かう程奥側に傾斜する斜面部(29)とを有することを特徴とする。
ここで、インナギア20の周辺構成について、詳細に説明する。インナギア20は、図5,6に示すように、摺動面部25、凹部26、連通孔27、及び斜面部29を有している。

Claims (8)
- 内歯(32a)を複数有するアウタギア(30)と、
外歯(24a)を複数有し、前記アウタギアとは偏心方向(De)に偏心して噛合するインナギア(20)と、
前記アウタギア及び前記インナギアを回転可能に収容するポンプハウジング(10)とを備え、
前記アウタギア及び前記インナギアは、それら両ギア間に複数形成されるポンプ室(40)の容積を拡縮させつつ回転することにより、燃料を各前記ポンプ室に順次吸入してから吐出し、
前記インナギアは、
前記インナギアの軸方向両側において、前記外歯を含む外周部(24)にそれぞれ環状に設けられ、前記ポンプハウジングに摺動する摺動面部(25)と、
各前記摺動面部よりも内周側にそれぞれ設けられ、燃料の流入する燃料室(58)を前記ポンプハウジングとの間に形成する凹部(26)と、
各前記凹部の間を連通する連通孔(27)と、
前記連通孔において前記凹部と連通する開口の縁部である連通縁部(28)のうち、前記インナギアの回転進行側の縁部に、前記摺動面部の内周縁部(25a)と隣接する隣接箇所(28a,28b,28c)を避けて設けられ、前記連通孔の中心部に向かう程奥側に傾斜する斜面部(29)とを有することを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。 - 前記斜面部は、前記連通縁部のうち、前記インナギアの回転逆側の縁部に、前記隣接箇所を避けて設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプ。
- 前記斜面部は、前記連通縁部のうち、前記開口を挟んで前記隣接箇所とは反対側となる縁部に、設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の燃料ポンプ。
- 前記斜面部は、各前記凹部とそれぞれ連通する両側の前記開口の前記連通縁部に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料ポンプ。
- 前記連通孔は、前記インナギアの回転方向(Rig)に沿って複数設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料ポンプ。
- 前記インナギアを回転させる回転軸(4a)を有する電動モータ(4)と、
各前記連通孔に対応する足部(54c)を介して前記回転軸を前記インナギアと中継するジョイント部材(54)とを備え、
各前記連通孔には、前記ジョイント部材の各前記足部が隙間をあけて挿入されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の燃料ポンプ。 - 前記ポンプハウジングは、一方の前記凹部と連通して前記ジョイント部材を格納する格納空間(60)を形成することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料ポンプ。
- 各前記凹部には、燃料としての軽油が流入することを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の燃料ポンプ。
