Claims (6)
- 多数の電池セルがバッテリケースに収容されるバッテリ装置において、
前記バッテリ装置が使用できなくなる場合に、電池セルを強制的に放電させるための水を前記バッテリケースの内部に注入する注入口を前記バッテリケースに設け、前記バッテリケースの内部に吸水部材を配した
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のバッテリ装置において、
前記吸水部材は、導電性の高吸水性高分子である
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。 - 請求項2に記載のバッテリ装置において、
前記バッテリケースには、
前記電池セルとの間に冷却流体を存在させる隙間が形成され、
前記高吸水性高分子は前記隙間に配され、
前記バッテリケースの外部から導入された水が前記高吸水性高分子で吸水される
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。 - 請求項3に記載のバッテリ装置において、
前記高吸水性高分子は、
前記バッテリケースの前記注入口から外部の水が導入された際に、水に接触するように露出する状態で前記隙間に配されている
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。 - 請求項4に記載のバッテリ装置において、
前記バッテリケースの底面側の隙間に区画域が形成され、前記区画域に前記高吸水性高分子が配されて前記区画域の上面にシール膜が設けられ、
前記シール膜は、前記バッテリケースの外部から水が導入された際に、上部に溜まった水の自重により破断する膜であり、
前記高吸水性高分子は、前記シール膜が水の自重で破断することにより水に接触するように露出する
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。 - 請求項3に記載のバッテリ装置において、
前記高吸水性高分子は、
水が導入される前記注入口の周囲における前記バッテリケースの内部に配されている
ことを特徴とするバッテリ装置。
