Description
図1に示すように、電動式ショベル1は主に、下部走行体2と、上部旋回体3と、ショベル機構4と、キャノピ型の運転室5と、を有している。また、下部走行体2の前部には、上下方向に揺動自在にブレード6が支持されている。
本実施形態の電動式ショベル1は、前述のように、バッテリ24によって電動モータ18が駆動され、この電動モータ18によって、ショベル機構4や走行機構11を作動させるための油圧ポンプ21が駆動される。図3に、本電動式ショベル1のシステムブロックを示す。なお、この図3では、主な構成のみを示している。
図4に示すように、旋回フレーム16は、前後方向に延びて形成されたベースプレート62と、それぞれベースプレート62上に固定された機器設置用区画プレート63及びバッテリ収納用区画プレート64と、を有している。
電源ユニット19を構成する複数のバッテリ24は、旋回フレーム16の後端部に設けられたバッテリ収納領域Eに配置されている。複数のバッテリ24は、図2に示すように、左右方向に並べて配置されるとともに、縦方向に積層されている。この実施形態では、複数のバッテリ24は4段に積層されており、以下の説明では、図4及び図5に示す最下段の複数のバッテリを第1バッテリ群B1、図5に示す第2段目、第3段目、第4段目の複数のバッテリをそれぞれ第2バッテリ群B2、第3バッテリ群B3、第4バッテリ群B4と記す。
複数のバッテリ24は、それらの端子同士が電気配線(以下、単に配線と記す)によって接続されている。そして、図5に示すように、積層された各段のバッテリ群B1〜B4のうちの、右端部のバッテリは配線W1によって上下に隣接するバッテリの端子同士が接続され、左端部のバッテリの端子は配線W2によって各バッテリケース82〜84よりコンタクタボックス25に接続されている。また、各段のバッテリ群B1〜B4において、左右方向のほぼ中央部のバッテリの端子は、それぞれ配線W3によってコンタクタボックス25に接続されている。そして、これらの各配線W1,W2,W3は、それぞれバッテリケース82〜84の後壁に形成された開口を介して、各バッテリケースの後方に引き出されている。
電源ユニット19を構成する密閉型の複数のバッテリ24は、鉛シールドバッテリであり、充電時や稼働中において大電流が流れ、温度が上昇すると、ガスを発生する。発生したガスはバッテリ内部でバッテリ液に戻される処理がなされるが、内部でガスを処理仕切れない場合がある。そこで、バッテリ内部の圧力が所定圧以上になった場合に、内部のガスをバッテリ外部に排出するためのガス排出構造が設けられている。また、さらに温度が上昇すると、バッテリ液が放出されるようになっており、この構造は緊急時においても作動するものである。
電源ユニット19のバッテリ24からの直流電力は、インバータ装置20によって任意の周波数の交流電力に変換される。電動モータ18は、インバータ装置20から供給される交流電力によって駆動され、さらにこの電動モータ18によって油圧ポンプ21が駆動される。そして、油圧ポンプ21からの油圧は、コントロールバルブ22を介して各油圧シリンダ43〜45や旋回用モータ及び走行用モータ55に供給される。
(1)複数のバッテリケース82〜84は、旋回フレーム16の後端部に固定された2つの支柱85に固定される。また、各バッテリケース82〜84は、位置決め構造91によって前後方向の移動が互いに規制されて位置決めされ、また側方支持構造92によって側壁が旋回フレーム16に固定されている。このため、バッテリケース82〜84の前部には固定のための支柱等の部材が不要になる。したがって、バッテリケース82〜84を含む電源ユニット19を、従来に比較して、より車両前方に配置することが可能になる。このため、旋回フレーム16が後方に張り出すのを抑えることができ、電動式ショベルの後方の旋回半径を小さくすることができる。
本発明は以上のような実施形態に限定されものではなく、本発明の範囲を逸脱することなく種々の変形又は修正が可能である。

Claims (8)
- バッテリにより駆動される電動モータを有する電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造であって、
それぞれ、前後左右の側壁及び底壁を有し、複数のバッテリが横方向に並べて収納され、縦方向に積層される複数のバッテリケースと、
前記複数のバッテリケースが後部に搭載され、前後方向に延伸する縦仕切プレートを含むベースフレームと、
前記ベースフレームの後端部の縦仕切りプレートに対応する位置に設置されるマウント部と、
下端部が前記マウント部に固定されるとともに上方に延びて配置され、前記各バッテリケースの後壁が固定される複数の支柱と、
を備えた電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造。 - 前記複数のバッテリケースの左右の側壁に設けられ、積層方向に隣接するバッテリケース同士の前後方向の相対移動を規制する位置決め構造をさらに備えた、請求項1に記載の電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造。
- 前記位置決め構造は、複数のバッテリケースのそれぞれの左右の側壁に設けられ、上下方向に隣接するバッテリケースが互いに嵌り合って互いの前後方向の移動を規制する凹凸部である、請求項2に記載の電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造。
- 前記複数のバッテリケースの左右の側壁を車両フレームに支持するための側方支持構造をさらに備えた、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造。
- 前記複数のバッテリケースの前壁は前記ベースフレームに支持されていない、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の電動式作業車両のバッテリ保持構造。
- 前記縦仕切プレートは前記ベースプレート側方より左右方向に距離をおいて設置されており、
前記バッテリケースは、前記ベースプレーツの後端部に左右の幅を揃えて積層されている、
請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の電動式作業車両。 - 車体フレームと、
前記車体フレームに支持された走行機構と、
作業機及び前記作業機を駆動する作業機駆動部を有する作業機ユニットと、
前記走行機構及び前記作業機ユニットを駆動するための電動モータと、
複数のバッテリを含み、前記電動モータに電力を供給する電源ユニットと、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のバッテリ保持構造と、
を備えた電動式作業車両。 - 前記ベースフレームは上下方向に延びる旋回軸の回りに旋回自在であり、
前記電動モータは前記ベースフレームの後部に配置されたバッテリ保持構造と前記旋回軸との間に配置されている、
請求項7に記載の電動式作業車両。
