Description
本出願は、2007年7月27日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/952,448号を基礎とする、2008年5月21日出願の米国特許出願第12/124,375号、及び2008年4月14日出願の米国特許出願第12/102,587号の優先権を主張する。これらの出願に開示された内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

Claims (28)
- コンピュータプログラムを符号化したコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
前記コンピュータプログラムは、実行されると、コンピュータに、
シーンの内部のユーザの画像を生成するステップと、
前記画像の中にユーザを囲む検出領域を画成するステップと、
前記検出領域の中のユーザの手の位置を検出するステップと、
検出された前記手の位置に基づいて、ユーザインタフェースの中のコントロールと相互連動するステップと、を含む動作を実行させる命令を備え、
前記画像の中にユーザを囲む検出領域を画成するステップは、
ユーザの胴体の位置と腕の到達範囲を決定するステップと、
前記胴体と、前記腕によって到達不能な画像の領域の少なくとも一部と、を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップと、
第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を決定するステップと、
前記第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップとを含み、
前記コントロールは、前記ユーザインタフェースの前記ユーザのアバターの描写に対して画定されたガイドラインに配列された項目を含む、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - コンピュータにより実施される方法であって、
シーンの内部のユーザの画像の中にユーザを囲む検出領域を画成するステップを含み、
前記画成するステップは、
前記ユーザと関連付けられたオブジェクトによって到達不能な、画像の到達不能領域を決定するステップと、
前記到達不能領域の少なくとも一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップと、
第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を決定するステップと、
前記第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップとを含み、
前記方法は、
前記検出領域の内部にオブジェクトの位置を検出するステップと、
検出された前記オブジェクトの位置に基づいて、ユーザインタフェースのコントロールと相互連動するステップと、を含む、コンピュータにより実施される方法。 - 前記ユーザの連動ジェスチャを検出するステップを含み、
前記オブジェクトの位置は、前記連動ジェスチャの検出に基づいて検出される、請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記オブジェクトが前記ユーザの手である、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記コントロールがさらに、文字を選択するステップを含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザインタフェースがさらに、前記ユーザの描写を含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- さらに、分割された画像を前記ユーザの描写として表示するステップを含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記コントロールがさらに、前記描写に対して画成されたガイドラインに配列された項目を含み、
前記項目は、前記描写を遮蔽することなく表示される、請求項6記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの描写は、さらにアバター又はカーソルを含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 検出された前記オブジェクトの位置に基づいて、アバターは、前記ユーザの動きを模倣して、生き生きと動くステップをさらに含む、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記描写の上方又は側方の前記ユーザインタフェースに前記コントロールを表示するステップをさらに含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記検出領域を検出するステップはさらに、前記ユーザの胴体の位置を決定するステップと、
決定された前記胴体の位置に基づいて、前記胴体を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの前記胴体の位置は、画像分割を用いて検出される、請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記検出領域を画成するステップは、決定された前記胴体の位置に基づいて、前記オブジェクトが到達することができない、前記画像の到達不能領域を決定するステップと、
前記検出領域を、決定した前記画像の到達不能領域を除外して画成するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項12記載の方法。 - 前記検出領域を画成するステップは、
前記ユーザの腕の到達可能範囲を決定するステップと、
決定された前記腕の到達可能範囲に基づいて、前記腕によって到達不能な画像の領域の少なくとも一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップと、を含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - 決定された前記ユーザの胴体、頭部、又は肩の位置に基づいてユーザの前記決定された前記腕の到達可能範囲を決定する、請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記検出領域を画成するステップは、
前記ユーザの頭部の位置を決定するステップと、決定された前記頭部の位置に基づいて、前記頭部の位置を除いて前記検出領域を画成するステップと、を含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの頭部の位置は、顔検出を用いて決定される、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記画像をトリミングするステップと、
前記画像を前記ユーザインタフェースの内部に表示するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの画像をセンタリングするステップをさらに含み、
前記画像は、センタリングした前記画像に基づいて画像をトリミングする、請求項19記載の方法。 - 前記コントロールを、センタリングした前記画像の内部で前記ユーザが到達可能とする拡大係数を決定するステップをさらに含み、
前記センタリングした画像は、前記拡大係数に基づいてトリミングされる、請求項20記載の方法。 - 前記拡大係数は解剖学的なモデルを用いて決定される、請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザの顔を検出するステップと、
検出された前記ユーザの顔に基づいて前記ユーザを識別するステップと、
前記ユーザの識別に基づいて前記コントロールを調整するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記検出領域の内部の2番目のオブジェクトの位置を検出するステップと、
前記2番目のオブジェクトの位置に基づいて前記コントロールを調整するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。 - カメラを用いて前記画像を撮像するステップをさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記検出領域の内部にオブジェクトの位置を検出するステップは、前記検出領域の内部にマッピングされたガイドラインに対するオブジェクトの位置を検出するステップをさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- コンピュータプログラムを符号化したコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
前記コンピュータプログラムは、実行されると、コンピュータに、
シーンの内部のユーザの画像の中に、ユーザを囲む検出領域を画成するステップと、
前記検出領域の内部にオブジェクトの位置を検出するステップと、
検出した前記オブジェクトの位置に基づいて、ユーザインタフェースのコントロールと相互連動するステップと、を含む、を含む動作を実行させる命令を備え、
前記画成するステップは、
前記ユーザと関連付けられたオブジェクトによって到達不能な、画像の到達不能領域を決定するステップと、
前記到達不能領域の少なくとも一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップと、
第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を決定するステップと、
前記第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成するステップとを含む、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - シーンの内部のユーザの画像の中に前記ユーザを囲む検出領域を画成し、
前記検出領域の内部のオブジェクトの位置を検出し、
検出された前記オブジェクトの位置に基づいて、ユーザインタフェースのコントロールと相互連動するように構成されたプロセッサを含み、
前記画成することは、
前記ユーザと関連付けられたオブジェクトによって到達不能な、画像の到達不能領域を決定し、
前記到達不能領域の少なくとも一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成し、
第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を決定するとともに、
前記第2のユーザが検出された前記検出領域の一部を除外して、前記検出領域を画成することを含む、デバイス。
