Description
Claims (17)
- エンジン用の排気構造であって、
前記エンジンからの排気流れに対する第1排気ダクトと、
前記エンジンからの排気流れに対する第2排気ダクトと、
前記エンジンからの排気を、第1排気期間中に前記第1排気ダクトに、続く第2排気期間中に前記第2排気ダクトに、選択的に方向付けるバルブ装置と、
前記第1排気ダクトに接続される入口を有するタービンと、
前記タービンに駆動可能に接続され、前記タービンにより駆動され、前記第2排気ダクトに接続される入口を有するコンプレッサと、を含む排気構造。 - 前記タービンは、前記第2排気ダクト及び/又はコンプレッサの入口に接続される出口40を有する、請求項1に記載の排気構造。
- 前記バルブ装置は、前記第2排気期間中に前記第2及び第1排気ダクトの双方に前記エンジンからの排気を選択的に方向付ける、請求項1に記載の排気構造。
- 前記バルブ装置は、前記第1排気期間中に前記第1排気ダクトだけに、続く第2排気期間中に前記第2排気ダクトだけに、選択的に方向付ける、請求項1又は2に記載の排気構造。
- 前記バルブ装置は、別々の第1排気バルブと第2排気バルブとを含む、請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造。
- 前記エンジンの各シリンダに対応付けられた別々の第1排気バルブと第2排気バルブとを含む、請求項5に記載の排気構造。
- 少なくとも前記第2排気ダクトに接続され、使用時に前記第2排気ダクトを流れる排気ガスを冷却する熱交換器又はクーラを更に含む、請求項1〜6のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造。
- 前記熱交換器又はクーラの出口は、前記コンプレッサの入口に接続される、請求項7に記載の排気構造。
- 前記第1排気期間は、前記エンジンの燃焼室の容積に実質的に変化が無いときの期間に対応する、請求項1〜8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造。
- 少なくとも1つの往復動するピストンを備えるエンジン用の請求項1〜9のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造。
- 前記第1排気期間は、前記ピストンが実質的に静止しているときの期間に対応する、請求項10に記載の排気構造。
- 前記第2排気期間は、排気ストローク中の前記ピストンが動いているときの期間に対応する、請求項10又は11に記載の排気構造。
- 前記エンジンへの吸気流れを圧縮する吸気側コンプレッサを駆動する第2タービンを更に含み、前記第2タービンは、前記第2排気ダクトに接続される入口と、前記コンプレッサの入口に接続される出口とを有する、請求項1〜12のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造。
- 請求項1〜12のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気構造を含むエンジン。
- 当該エンジンへの吸気流れを圧縮する吸気側コンプレッサを含む、請求項14に記載のエンジン。
- 前記吸気側コンプレッサは、前記タービンに駆動可能に接続され、前記タービンにより駆動される、請求項10に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気構造は、第2タービンを更に含み、前記第2タービンは、前記第2排気ダクトに接続される入口と、前記コンプレッサの入口に接続される出口とを有し、当該エンジンの吸気側コンプレッサに駆動可能に接続される、請求項15に記載のエンジン。
