Claims (9)
- 作業アタッチメントを起伏可能に支持するベースフレームと、このベースフレーム上に設けられたエンジンと、このエンジンの排気ガスが流されることにより当該排気ガスを浄化することが可能な排気ガス後処理装置と、これらエンジン及び排気ガス後処理装置を覆うように前記ベースフレーム上に設けられたガードパネルとを備えた建設機械であって、
前記排気ガス後処理装置は、エンジンの排気中の粉塵を捕集可能なフィルタを有する第一処理部と、窒素酸化物を分解するための触媒を有する第二処理部とを有し、
前記ガードパネルは、前記ベースフレームと略平行に配置されているとともに前記エンジンに対応する部分に開口が形成された天板と、この天板から上に突出し、かつ、前記開口を覆うように設けられたボンネットとを有し、
前記第一処理部、第二処理部のうち、一方の処理部が前記天板よりも下に配置されているとともに、他方の処理部が前記開口を通して前記天板よりも上でボンネットよりも下に配置された部分を少なくとも一部に有していることを特徴とする建設機械。 - 前記第一及び第二処理部は、排気ガスの流れ方向が水平方向に向くように配置されているとともに前記流れ方向と直交する断面形状が互いに略同一の円形断面形状とされ、互いに異なる高さ位置に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の建設機械。
- 前記第一処理部、第二処理部のうち、高い位置に配置された処理部が上から見て前記開口の範囲内に収まって配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の建設機械。
- 前記第一処理部と第二処理部とは、排気ガスの流れ方向が水平方向に向き、かつ、互いの下面が略同等の高さ位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の建設機械。
- 排気ガスの流れ方向と直交する断面形状が、前記一方の処理部については水平方向に横長とされ、前記他方の処理部については上下に縦長とされ、この他方の処理部が上から見て前記開口の範囲内に収まって配置されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の建設機械。
- 前記各処理部は、上から見て前記開口の縁部の一部を挟んで開口の内外に並び、かつ、各処理部に挟まれた前記開口の縁部の一部と前記各処理部の排気ガスの流れ方向とが互いに沿うようにそれぞれ配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の建設機械。
- 前記第一及び第二処理部は、排気ガスの流れ方向が互いに略平行となるように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の建設機械。
- 前記各処理部のうちの少なくとも一方の処理部は、前記エンジンに連結された油圧ポンプの上に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の建設機械。
- 前記ベースフレーム上で前記油圧ポンプに隣接して設けられ、作動油タンク、燃料タンクの少なくとも一方を有するタンク装置をさらに備え、このタンク装置は、前記油圧ポンプと略同等の高さ又はこれよりも低い高さの上面を持つ低背部を少なくとも油圧ポンプ側の一部に有し、前記各処理部のうちの少なくとも一方の処理部は前記低背部及び油圧ポンプの上に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の建設機械。
