Claims (3)
- 車両に搭載され、エンジンの回転速度を変速する無段変速機であって、
変速比を最Lowと最Highとの間で無段階に変更することができる無段変速機構(以下、「バリエータ」という)と、
前記バリエータに対して直列に備えられ、前進用変速段として第1変速段と、前記第1変速段よりも変速比が小さい第2変速段と、を備える副変速機構と、
前記車両の車速及びスロットル開度に基づいて、前記バリエータの変速比と前記副変速機構の変速段とを変更して、前記バリエータ及び前記副変速機構の全体の変速比であるスルー変速比を変更する変速制御部と、
を備え、
前記変速制御部は、
前記車速の上昇に伴い前記バリエータを前記Low側から前記High側へと変速させ、
前記スロットル開度が所定値よりも大きい場合に、前記バリエータの変速比が最High付近となったときには、前記副変速機構を前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段へとアップシフトさせ、
前記スロットル開度が所定値以下の場合には、前記最High付近よりもLow側の変速比で前記副変速機構を前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段へとアップシフトさせる
ことを特徴とする無段変速機。 - 前記変速制御部は、
前記車速が所定車速以上で前記副変速機構をアップシフトする通常アップシフト車速と、前記通常アップシフト車速よりも低い車速域で前記副変速機構をアップシフトする定常アップシフト車速とを予め記憶しておき、
前記車両のスロットル開度が所定値以下の場合に、前記通常アップシフト車速以下であっても、前記定常アップシフト車速以上であれば、前記副変速機構を前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段へとアップシフトすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記変速制御部は、
前記車速が所定車速以上で前記副変速機構をアップシフトする通常アップシフト車速と、前記通常アップシフト車速よりも低い車速域で前記副変速機構をアップシフトする定常アップシフト車速とを予め記憶しておき、
前記バリエータを、前記エンジンの回転速度が最低回転速度以下とならないように変速させ、
前記スロットル開度が前記所定値以下で前記エンジン回転速度が前記最低回転速度にあるとき、前記定常アップシフト車速よりも大きい車速である場合に、前記副変速機構を前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段へとアップシフトさせることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の無段変速機。
