Description
Claims (14)
- ユーザ情報を保持するための情報担体であって、前記情報担体はユーザ情報にアクセスするためのアクセス情報ビットを表すビットのシーケンスの形態のアクセス情報を有し、前記ビットのシーケンスはウォブルチャネルに保存され、前記ウォブルチャネルのウォブルの振幅は積分検出によって検出可能な小ささである情報担体において、前記アクセス情報ビットは、所定のスクランブル方法に従って前記ビットのシーケンスにスクランブルをかけられ、前記スクランブル方法は、前記アクセス情報ビットとランダムビットとのXOR演算、及びこの演算の結果のビットの並び替えを有し、前記アクセス情報ビットを有するエリアの読出しにより得られる信号が、積分検出より先に当該スクランブル方法の逆を適用することにより修正されることによって、前記所定のスクランブル方法に従ってスクランブルされた前記アクセス情報ビットがデスクランブルされなければならないことを特徴とする情報担体。
- 前記ビットのシーケンスはキーフレームに書込まれ、前記ランダムビット及び並び替えはキーフレーム毎に変更されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報担体。
- 前記並び替えは全てのECC(Error Correction Code)ブロックに繰り返されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報担体。
- 前記アクセス情報ビットは、所定の疑似ランダム方法で前記ビットのシーケンスを変更することによりスクランブルをかけられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の情報担体。
- 前記ウォブルチャネルはウォブル状にされたプリグルーブであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の情報担体。
- 前記情報担体は更に、前記所定のスクランブル方法を示すスクランブル方法ビットを有するエリアを有し、前記方法に従って前記アクセス情報ビットがスクランブルされることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の情報担体。
- 前記スクランブル方法ビットは、前記ウォブルチャネルに保存され、前記変化は積分検出によって検出可能であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の情報担体。
- 前記エリアは8ビットのスクランブル方法ビットを有することを特徴とする、請求項6又は7に記載の情報担体。
- 前記情報担体は光ディスクであり、PIC(Permanent Information & Control data)ゾーンを有し、前記アクセス情報は前記PICゾーンに保存されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の情報担体。
- 前記アクセス情報は前記PICゾーンにおけるアドレスユニットに保存され、スクランブルのシードが前記PICゾーンにおけるアドレスユニットのアドレス番号から導出されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の情報担体。
- 前記アクセス情報は、予め記録されたピット及びランドの形で、又は予め記録された高周波変調されたグルーブの形で、前記PICゾーンに保存されることを特徴とする、請求項9又は10に記載の情報担体。
- ユーザ情報を保持するための情報担体から情報を読み出す装置において、前記情報担体はユーザ情報にアクセスするためのアクセス情報ビットを表すビットのシーケンスの形態のアクセス情報を有し、前記ビットのシーケンスはウォブルチャネルに保存され、前記ウォブルチャネルのウォブルの振幅は積分検出によって検出可能な小ささであり、前記装置は、前記情報担体からユーザ情報を読み出し、読出し信号を得るための読み取りユニットと、前記ウォブルチャネルのウォブルの振幅を積分検出により検出し、前記情報担体から前記アクセス情報を取得するためのアクセス制御手段とを有し、前記アクセス情報ビットは、所定のスクランブル方法に従って前記ビットのシーケンスにスクランブルをかけられ、前記スクランブル方法は、前記アクセス情報ビットとランダムビットとのXOR演算、及びこの演算の結果のビットの並び替えを有し、前記アクセス制御手段は、積分検出より先に当該スクランブル方法の逆を適用することにより前記読出し信号を修正することにより前記所定のスクランブル方法に従ってスクランブルされた前記アクセス情報ビットをデスクランブルし、デスクランブルされたアクセス情報を利用して前記ユーザ情報へのアクセスを提供することを特徴とする装置。
- 前記ウォブルチャネルがウォブル状にされたプリグルーブである情報担体から情報を読み出す請求項12に記載の装置において、前記読み取りユニットは、前記ウォブル状にされたプリグルーブのウォブルから前記アクセス情報ビットを読み出すことを特徴とする装置。
- 前記所定のスクランブル方法を示すスクランブル方法ビットを有するエリアを有し、前記方法に従って前記アクセス情報ビットがスクランブルされる情報担体から情報を読み出す請求項12に記載の装置において、前記アクセス制御手段は、前記スクランブル方法ビットに依存して前記アクセス情報ビットをデスクランブルすることを特徴とする装置。
