Claims (10)
- シャフト(12)の外周部の少なくとも一部に亘って少なくとも1条のねじ山(14;24;34;54)が設けられ,ねじ山(14;24;34;54)内の空所(15;25;35;55)に複数の切削手段(16;26;36;56)が配置され,該切削手段(16;26;36;56)がねじ山(14;24;34;54)よりも高硬度である耐食金属材料製のセルフタップねじ(11;21;31;51)において,前記切削手段(16;26;36;56)が,空所(15;25;35;55)内に固着した溶接材で構成されていることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1において,前記溶接材の炭素含有量が0.8wt%未満であることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1又は2において,前記空所(25)がスポット状の凹所であることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1又は2において,前記空所(15;35;55)が直線状の凹所であることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか一項において,前記空所(15;25;35;55)が,シャフト(12)の外周(19)に対して半径方向に離間した底壁部分(18;38;58)を具えることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項において,前記ねじ山(14)における空所(15)の間隔(A)が,シャフト(12)の先端部(17)からヘッド(13)に向けて増大することを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1〜6の何れか一項において,前記切削手段(36;56)を前記空所(35;55)内に位置決めするための位置決め手段(41;61)が,該空所(35;55)内に設けられていることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項7において,前記位置決め手段(41)が突条(42)であることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項において,前記切削手段(16;26;36;56)が,前記空所(15;25;35;55)の少なくとも1個の内壁(39;59)に対して離間配置されていることを特徴とするセルフタップねじ。
- 請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載のセルフタップねじ(11;21;31;51)を製造する方法であって,先ず,シャフト(12)の外周の少なくと一部に亘って少なくとも1条のねじ山(14;24;34;54)を形成し,次に,ねじ山(14;24;34;54)に空所(15;25;35;55)を形成した後,該空所(15;25;35;55)内に切削手段(16;26;36;56)としての溶接材を,レーザ溶接により固着することを特徴とする,セルフタップねじの製造方法。
