Description
Claims (4)
- 光リングに接続され、第1の方向にトラフィックを伝送する第1伝送要素と、
前記光リングに接続され、第2の方向にトラフィックを伝送する第2伝送要素と、
を備える光ネットワーク用のノードであって、
前記第1及び第2伝送要素の各々は、
前記光リングで伝送される光信号を増幅する増幅器と、
前記増幅器による自然放出光を抑制するASEフィルタと、
ネットワーク帯域内の複数の個別的なサブバンドに含まれる少なくとも第1及び第2のサブバンドの光信号の内、第1のサブバンドの光信号を阻止し且つ第2のサブバンドの光信号を通過させるフィルタと、
前記第1のサブバンドのローカルトラフィックを、前記光ネットワークで伝送するために前記フィルタの出力信号に付加する付加要素と
を備え、
前記ASEフィルタは、
前記第1のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第1のバンドパスフィルタと、
前記第2のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第2のバンドパスフィルタと、
第3のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第3のバンドパスフィルタと
を少なくとも含み、スイッチにより選択されたバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、該ASEフィルタから出力され、
前記光ネットワークで前記第3のサブバンドの光信号が使用されていない場合、前記スイッチにより選択された前記第1及び第2のバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、該ASEフィルタから出力され、
使用されていなかった前記第3のサブバンドの光信号が、以後使用されることになった場合、前記スイッチを切り替えることで、前記第1、第2及び第3のバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、前記ASEフィルタから出力される、
ことを特徴とする光ネットワーク用のノード。 - 前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向から選択的に除去されたトラフィックを受信機に転送する光スプリッタ
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のノード。 - 光リング及び複数のノードを備える光ネットワークであって、各ノードは、
前記光リングに接続され、第1の方向にトラフィックを伝送する第1伝送要素と、
前記光リングに接続され、第2の方向にトラフィックを伝送する第2伝送要素と、
を備える光ネットワーク用のノードであって、
前記第1及び第2伝送要素の各々は、
前記光リングで伝送される光信号を増幅する増幅器と、
前記増幅器による自然放出光を抑制するASEフィルタと、
ネットワーク帯域内の複数の個別的なサブバンドに含まれる少なくとも第1及び第2のサブバンドの光信号の内、第1のサブバンドの光信号を阻止し且つ第2のサブバンドの光信号を通過させるフィルタと、
前記第1のサブバンドのローカルトラフィックを、前記光ネットワークで伝送するために前記フィルタの出力信号に付加する付加要素と
を備え、
前記ASEフィルタは、
前記第1のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第1のバンドパスフィルタと、
前記第2のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第2のバンドパスフィルタと、
第3のサブバンドを通過帯域とする第3のバンドパスフィルタと
を少なくとも含み、スイッチにより選択されたバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、該ASEフィルタから出力され、
前記光ネットワークで前記第3のサブバンドの光信号が使用されていない場合、前記スイッチにより選択された前記第1及び第2のバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、該ASEフィルタから出力され、
使用されていなかった前記第3のサブバンドの光信号が、以後使用されることになった場合、前記スイッチを切り替えることで、前記第1、第2及び第3のバンドパスフィルタからの光信号が、前記ASEフィルタから出力される、
ことを特徴とする光ネットワーク。 - 前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向から選択的に除去されたトラフィックを受信機に転送する光スプリッタ
を備えることを特徴とする請求項3記載の光ネットワーク。
