Description
図1、図2で示すように、本発明に係る画像記録装置10が対象とする記録媒体は、帯状に連続されたフレキシブル基板100である。フレキシブル基板100は、可撓性を有するフィルム状の絶縁層上に、銅箔等の金属薄膜層が形成され、その金属薄膜層がドライフィルムレジストでラミネートされており、ロール状に巻回されてローダー80にセットされる。なお、フレキシブル基板100には、液晶ディスプレイ用の基板や、フィルター等の各種可撓性記録媒体が含まれていてもよい。
図1、図2で示すように、画像記録装置10は、ロール状に巻回された未露光のフレキシブル基板100を繰り出し可能に保持する供給リール82を備えたローダー80と、画像が記録された露光済みのフレキシブル基板100をロール状に巻き取る巻取リール92を備えたアンローダー90との間に配設され、ローダー80と画像記録装置10の間及びアンローダー90と画像記録装置10の間には、フレキシブル基板100に加えられるテンションを調整するダンサーローラー84、94等が配設されている。
以上のような構成の画像記録装置10において、次に、その作用を主に図6、図7を基に説明する。まず、最初に図6(A)で示すように、昇降機構20Cによって支持体20Bを上昇させ、PDセンサー50をフレキシブル基板100に対する露光ヘッド30の露光位置に配置する。このときの支持体20B(ステージ面20A)の上昇高さは、ステージ面20AとPDセンサー50の高さの差と等しい。

Claims (14)
- 供給リールと巻取リールの間に張架された帯状のフレキシブル基板の描画領域に画像を記録する画像記録装置であって、
前記フレキシブル基板を吸着するときに上昇し、前記フレキシブル基板に対する吸着を解除したときに下降するように昇降移動可能に構成されたステージ面を有し、所定の搬送経路に沿って往復移動可能に構成されたステージ部と、
前記ステージ部の移動方向両側に該ステージ部と共に前記搬送経路に沿って往復移動可能に設けられ、前記ステージ面が下降しているときに、前記フレキシブル基板を下方から支持するガイドローラーと、
前記ステージ部の搬送経路の上方に配設され、該ステージ部の往路において、前記フレキシブル基板の少なくともアライメントマークを検知するアライメント部と、
前記アライメント部で検知されたアライメントマークに基づいて前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域に記録する画像データを補正する補正手段と、
前記ステージ部の搬送経路の上方に配設され、該ステージ部の復路において、前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域に、前記補正手段によって補正された画像データを記録する記録部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする画像記録装置。 - 前記補正手段は、少なくとも前記フレキシブル基板の搬送方向に対する補正量を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像記録装置。
- 前記記録部と前記アライメント部は、前記供給リール側から順に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の画像記録装置。
- 前記フレキシブル基板は、前記ステージ面にその描画領域が吸着されて搬入・排出されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか1項に記載の画像記録装置。
- 前記フレキシブル基板は、搬送ローラーによって前記ステージ部へ搬入・排出されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか1項に記載の画像記録装置。
- 前記記録部は、前記フレキシブル基板を露光して画像データを記録する露光ヘッドを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5の何れか1項に記載の画像記録装置。
- 前記露光ヘッドは、画像データに基づいて変調された光ビームを照射して、前記フレキシブル基板を露光することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の画像記録装置。
- 供給リールと巻取リールの間に張架された帯状のフレキシブル基板の描画領域に画像を記録する画像記録方法であって、
ステージ部のステージ面を上昇させ、前記ステージ部の移動方向両側に該ステージ部と共に移動可能に設けられたガイドローラーによって下方から支持されている前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域を前記ステージ面に吸着する工程と、
前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域を前記ステージ面に吸着した前記ステージ部を所定の搬送経路に沿って移動させ、該フレキシブル基板の少なくともアライメントマークをアライメント部により検知する工程と、
検知されたアライメントマークに基づいて前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域に記録する画像データを補正する工程と、
前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域を前記ステージ面に吸着した前記ステージ部を逆方向に移動させつつ、その補正された画像データを前記フレキシブル基板の描画領域に記録部により記録する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする画像記録方法。 - 前記補正手段は、少なくとも前記フレキシブル基板の搬送方向に対する補正量を算出することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の画像記録方法。
- 前記記録部と前記アライメント部は、前記供給リール側から順に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項8又は請求項9に記載の画像記録方法。
- 前記フレキシブル基板は、前記ステージ面にその描画領域が吸着されて搬入・排出されることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項10の何れか1項に記載の画像記録方法。
- 前記フレキシブル基板は、搬送ローラーによって前記ステージ部へ搬入・排出されることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項10の何れか1項に記載の画像記録方法。
- 前記記録部は、前記フレキシブル基板を露光して画像データを記録する露光ヘッドを有することを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項12の何れか1項に記載の画像記録方法。
- 前記露光ヘッドは、画像データに基づいて変調された光ビームを照射して、前記フレキシブル基板を露光することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の画像記録方法。
