Description
WO97/03816から公知の折り畳まれたハニカム体は、単一の層、たとえば平面体から連続的に製造される。切り込みを入れた後に折り畳むことにより、六角形のセルが設けられる。セルは被覆層接続面によりつなげられる。切り込みのない折り畳まれたハニカム体は、熱可塑性フィルムの連続層から、回転真空熱成形により経済的に製造可能である。このような折り畳まれたハニカム体はWO00/32382において説明されており、これは各六角形セルを両側で被覆する接続面を有する。
本発明の目的は、折り畳まれたハニカム構造を、切り込みを使用せずに製造する方法および装置の提供を可能にすることである。
a)第1三次元構造(1および2)と、第2接続領域(3および4)とを平面体に形成するために平面体を塑性変形し、第2接続領域が第1三次元構造の間に形成されることと、b)リング状に相互に接続するセル壁を有するセルを形成するために三次元構造を相互に向かって折り畳み、これにより1つのセルのセル壁がハニカム構造内で別のセルが有する
セル壁に接続すること。
a)第1三次元構造(1および2)と、第2接続領域(3および4)とを平面体に塑性変形により形成し、その際第2接続領域が第1三次元構造の間に形成されている、手段と、b)リング状に相互に隣接するセル壁を有するセルを形成するために三次元構造を相互に向かって折り畳み、これにより1つのセルのセル壁がハニカム構造内で別のセルが有するセル壁と接続するための手段。

畳み前の成形されたウェブ基材の側面図を示す。折り畳み操作を容易にするため、塑性変形されたウェブ基材は好適には、正値である「x」を有する面外に配置される軸線5および6(ここを中心に材料領域1および2が折り畳みの際に回転する)を有する。寸法xは、材料の上面の交差凹部における最も低い凹部の軸線6との合流点が、ウェブの下面にある交差凹部の軸線5における先端合流部より高いように選択される。製造方向への長手方向力が軸線5および6において作用し、これにより軸線5、6を中心に曲げモーメントが加わる。これにより、成形されたウェブ基材が、製造方向へ単純に圧縮されることによって折り畳まれる。

Claims (16)
- 列をなして配置される複数のセルから形成され、前記セルは、相互に接続されたセル壁を有し、折り畳まれたハニカム体が実質的に切られていない平面体から形成されており、折り畳まれたハニカム体が、塑性変形により形成される複数の三次元構造(1および2)と、塑性変形により作成される接続領域(3および4)とを有し、接続領域(3、4)が、折り畳まれたハニカム体の前記セル壁を形成する、折り畳まれたハニカム体。
- 三次元構造が多角形、正弦または弓形の形状の領域である、請求項1に記載の折り畳まれたハニカム体。
- セル壁の少なくとも一部が完全にまたは部分的に相互に常時接続している、請求項1または2に記載の折り畳まれたハニカム体。
- 平面体が熱可塑性ポリマー、繊維複合材料または塑性変形可能な紙または金属薄板から形成される、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の折り畳まれたハニカム体。
- a)第1三次元構造(1および2)と第2接続領域(3および4)とを形成するために平面体を塑性変形し、第2接続領域が第1三次元構造の間に形成されることと、
b)相互に接続されたセル壁を有するセルを形成するために三次元構造を相互に向かって折り畳み、これにより1つのセルのセル壁をハニカム構造内で別のセルと接続することと、
を備える、折り畳まれたハニカム体を塑性変形可能材料からなる平面体から製造するための工程。 - 三次元構造が、多角形、正弦または弓形の形状の領域である、請求項5に記載の工程。
- セルの相互に接触する面領域および/または縁部の少なくとも一部が、相互に強固に接続している、請求項5または6に記載の工程。
- 塑性変形材料が、熱可塑性ポリマー、繊維複合材料または塑性変形可能である紙または金属薄板である、請求項5から7のいずれか1項に記載の工程。
- 三次元構造を形成するための変形が、非切削回転工程により実施される、請求項5から8のいずれか1項に記載の工程。
- 変形が回転真空熱成形工程により実施される、請求項9に記載の工程。
- a)第1三次元構造(1および2)と第2接続領域(3および4)とを形成するために平面体を塑性変形させる手段であって、第2接続領域が第1三次元構造の間に形成される、手段と、
b)相互に接続されたセル壁を有するセルを形成するために三次元構造を相互に向かって折り畳み、これにより1つのセルのセル壁をハニカム構造内の別のセルが有するセル壁に接続する手段と、
を備える、塑性変形可能材料からなる平面体から折り畳まれたハニカム体を製造するための装置。 - 平面体を塑性変形するための手段が、三次元構造を形成するための表面形状を有する第1ローラを含む、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 折り畳むための手段が、第1ローラの下流に配置され、第1ローラより低速で回転する第2ローラを含む、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 第1ローラと第2ローラとの間にガイドをさらに備える、請求項12または13に記載の装置。
- 第1ローラが、回転真空熱成形ローラとして適合されている、請求項11から14のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
