Claims (8)
- 所定のパラメータを設定することで作動可能となるセンサと、通信を介して前記センサに前記パラメータを送信する処理ユニットとを備え、前記センサによって車両の周囲に存在する障害物を検知する障害物検知装置であって、
前記処理ユニットは、
前記車両の走行に関する状態を検出する車両状態検出手段と、
前記車両の走行に関する状態が前記センサを作動させるべき条件を示す作動条件、及び、前記センサの作動を禁止すべき条件を示す禁止条件の何れの条件に該当するかを判定する作動・禁止条件判定手段と、
前記センサとの通信を行う通信制御手段と、
前記センサに前記パラメータを送信し、当該センサからパラメータの設定完了の旨を受信するパラメータ設定処理を実行するパラメータ設定処理手段と、を備え、
前記パラメータ設定処理手段は、前記作動・禁止条件判定手段によって禁止条件に該当すると判定される場合、前記パラメータが設定されていないセンサ、又は/及び、前記通信制御手段による通信ができないセンサが少なくとも1つあれば、全てのセンサに対し再度前記パラメータ設定処理を実行することを特徴とする障害物検知装置。 - 前記パラメータ設定処理手段は、前記処理ユニットへの電源投入後に実行することを特徴とする請求項1記載の障害物検知装置。
- 前記通信制御手段によって前記センサとの通信が所定時間以上できない場合に異常が発生したと判定する異常判定手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の障害物検知装置。
- 前記異常判定手段によって異常が発生したと判定される場合、及び、前記パラメータ設定処理手段のパラメータ設定処理において前記パラメータの設定完了の旨が受信できない場合の少なくとも一方の場合に、異常発生を報知する異常報知手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項3記載の障害物検知装置。
- 前記異常報知手段は、表示画面を有する表示手段、及び、音響を出力する音響出力手段の少なくとも一方を備えることを特徴とする請求項4記載の障害物検知装置。
- 前記車両状態検出手段は、前記車両の車速、及び前記車両の変速機の変速位置を検出し、
前記作動・禁止条件判定手段は、前記車速が所定速度以下で、かつ、前記車両が前進、若しくは後退する際の変速位置である場合に作動条件に該当すると判定することを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の障害物検知装置。 - 前記センサは、
前記作動・禁止条件判定手段によって作動条件に該当すると判定される場合に障害物の検知を実行し、
前記作動・禁止条件判定手段によって禁止条件に該当すると判定される場合に障害物の検知を停止することを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の障害物検知装置。 - 前記センサは、前記車両の前方、及び後方の少なくとも一方のバンパ部に複数搭載されることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の障害物検知装置。
