Claims (2)
- 吸気系および排気系を備えるとともに、所定の減速時に燃料の供給を停止するフューエルカットを実行する内燃機関から排出された排ガスを浄化する内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置であって、
前記排気系に設けられ、排ガス中のNOxを吸収するNOx吸収触媒と、
前記内燃機関のクランク角を検出するクランク角検出手段と、
前記フューエルカットの実行中に、前記検出されたクランク角が、圧縮行程と膨張行程の間の上死点付近に位置しているときに、前記NOx吸収触媒に吸収されたNOxを還元するために、燃料を還元剤として燃焼室内に供給する燃料供給手段と、
当該燃料供給手段による燃料の供給中に、前記燃焼室に吸入される吸気量を低減する吸気量低減手段と、
前記燃料供給手段による燃料の供給中に、前記燃焼室に吸入される吸気を冷却する吸気冷却手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記排気系と前記吸気系の間に接続され、排ガスの一部を前記吸気系に還流するための排ガス還流通路をさらに備え、
前記吸気冷却手段は、前記燃料供給手段による燃料の供給中に、前記排ガス還流通路を通過する排ガスを冷却するための排ガス冷却手段を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。
