Description
【0001】

[0002]
[Prior art]
A dash panel is provided at the front of the vehicle so as to partition the engine room and the passenger compartment, and a cowl top panel having a closed cross section along the vehicle width direction is coupled to the upper end of the dash panel. Both ends of the spring are connected to the upper portions of the left and right spring house panels that accommodate the springs of the suspension device. And the lower end part of a windshield is adhering to the upper part of a cowl top panel, and the wiper unit is accommodated in the inside. As such a conventional wiper unit, there is Patent Document 1 shown below.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent No. 2888651
[0004]
The "opposite wiping type wiper" described in Patent Document 1 has a wiper arm base end portion rotatably supported on both sides of a windshield, and a wiper motor disposed on the right side and a central portion. The bell crank is connected with a rod, and the bell crank and the right wiper arm are connected via a rod, a segment lever and a rod, while the bell crank and the left wiper arm are connected via a rod. It is.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional "opposite wiping type wiper" described above, the left and right wiper arms are supported on both sides of the windshield, a drive unit having a wiper motor is arranged on the right side, and a bell crank is arranged in the center. The drive unit, the bell crank, and each warper arm are connected by a rod having a predetermined length. For this reason, the total number of components increases, and a long time is required for the assembling work, and there is a problem that workability is not good. In addition, since the drive unit, the bell crank, and each wiper arm are spaced apart from each other in the vehicle width direction, a long rod is used for connection. For this reason, each component is individually attached to the body, and proper operation of the wiper arm becomes difficult due to a decrease in rigidity between the components.
[0006]
In recent years, considering the workability of the vehicle, the cowl top panel can be divided into front and rear parts, and the cowl top front can be removed as a fitting part. However, since the wiper unit is attached to the cowl top panel over almost the entire region in the vehicle width direction, when removing the cowl top front, the wiper unit must also be disassembled, which makes maintenance work troublesome. There is a problem that it ends up.
[0007]
The present invention solves such a problem, and provides a vehicle wiper unit that improves assembly workability and maintenance workability by simplifying the structure and enables proper operation. Objective.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the vehicle wiper unit according to the first aspect of the present invention, the first and second wiper arms respectively supported by the first and second support shafts disposed on the left and right sides of the ur top panel are provided. The first and second wiper arms are opposed to each other so as to be capable of reciprocating rotation, and the first and second wiper blades mounted on the distal ends of the wiper arms wipe the substantially central portion of the windshield in an overlapping manner. A first connection that transmits the driving force distributed by the driving unit, the driving force distribution mechanism that distributes the driving force of the driving unit to each wiper arm, the first support shaft, and the driving force distribution mechanism. The rod is integrated as a drive unit and attached to one end of the cowl top panel, while the drive force distributed by the second support shaft and drive force distribution mechanism is transmitted to the second support shaft. A second connecting rod integral as follower units are mounted on the other end portion of the cowl top panel that.
[0009]
Therefore, modularizing the wiper drive mechanism into a drive unit and a driven unit and mounting them on the vehicle body simplifies the structure and improves assembly workability and maintenance workability, and reduces the number of parts to be mounted. In addition, since a large number of long rods and the like are not required and the rigidity between the parts is improved, the wiper arm can be appropriately operated.
[0010]
In the vehicle wiper unit according to the second aspect of the invention, the driving force distribution mechanism and the end of the second connecting rod are detachably connected. Therefore, at the time of maintenance work, by removing the end of the second connecting rod from the driving force distribution mechanism, it is possible to secure a work space part at the center part in the vehicle width direction of the cowl top panel, thereby improving workability. it can.
