Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a microwave oven packaging material, and more specifically, a microwave oven packaging material that has excellent heat resistance that can be applied to a high-power microwave oven and that is also easy to open. The present invention relates to a microwave oven heating packaging bag made of this packaging material, and a microwave oven packaging food package formed by filling and sealing a food in the microwave heating packaging bag.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, packaged food for heating a microwave oven, which is formed by filling and sealing processed foods such as retort foods and frozen foods in a synthetic resin packaging bag and cooking with a microwave oven when eating, is widely known.
For example,
In this packaging material, heating by a microwave oven is possible, but depending on the contents, a hole may be formed in the packaging material.
In order to solve such problems, the following
In the packaged food for microwave oven heating, even if it has heat resistance that can withstand heating in a short time in a relatively low output microwave oven such as 500W or 600W, Depending on the increase in output or the type of contents, there has been a situation in which a hole is formed in the packaging bag due to a local temperature rise, and it has not been sufficiently satisfied in terms of heat resistance.
That is, the heating output setting of the microwave oven for home use is mainly 500W or 600W, but the magnetron for consumer use, which is a microwave generator, conforms to the world standard, and 1000W, 900W, and 800W are mainstream, and convenience stores. Because microwave ovens for business use installed in restaurants and restaurants have a high output of 1700 to 1900 W, it is desirable that packaged food for heating microwave ovens also have heat resistance that can accommodate high-output microwave ovens. Yes.
Moreover, the packaging surface food for microwave oven heating reaches 95 degreeC or more after completion | finish of a heating. This is because steam is emitted from the boiling portion due to partial overheating, fills the bag, and the temperature rises due to surface overheating.
When opening the packaged food bag for microwave heating during eating, if the packaging bag is not easily torn, there is a concern of burns due to spilled contents. In addition, the conventional heating method using a hot water bath does not generate steam even immediately after it is removed from the hot water, so there is no generation of steam and the surface temperature decreases, so there are concerns such as burns when opening the packaging bag. There was no. The case of using scissors was also recommended, but in the case of a microwave heating packaging bag, hold the hot bag with one hand, and holding the scissors with one hand will increase instability, make it easy to spill and safe It cannot be said that it can be opened. Therefore, it is desired to be able to open safely and easily.

According to the present invention, there is also provided a microwave oven heating packaging bag formed from the microwave oven heating packaging material.
According to the present invention, there is further provided a microwave-heated packaged food obtained by filling and sealing the above-mentioned microwave oven-packaging bag with food.
In the microwave oven packaged food of the present invention,
1. The food has a dielectric constant of 50 to 80, a dielectric loss angle of 0.2 to 0.7, and a salt concentration of 2.5% by weight or less.
2. The output is compatible with a microwave oven of 500-1900W,
Is preferred.
Since the heat resistance of the packaging material for heating a microwave oven according to the present invention is significantly improved as compared with a conventional packaging material for heating a microwave oven, heating in a microwave oven with a high output of 1900 W or a long time Even in the case of heating or filling and sealing the contents that are likely to cause a local temperature rise, occurrence of thermal damage such as opening of the packaging material is effectively prevented.
In addition, because it is excellent in easy tearing, easy opening is ensured when it is used as a microwave heating packaging bag, and when the heated microwave heating packaging food is opened, the contents are spilled. It can be opened safely and easily without the risk of burns.
Furthermore, since the packaging material is thick, mechanical strength such as drop strength is improved, and it is possible to prevent bag breakage when food is filled and sealed to form packaged food.
Furthermore, by forming the printing layer outside the barrier layer and inside the polyester film (A), the barrier layer can suppress the influence of the ink on the contents, and the polyester film (A) can be used for printing. The layer can also be protected.
(Packaging material)
The packaging material for microwave heating of this invention is laminated | stacked in order of the polyester film (A), the polyester film (B) which has a barrier layer, the linear tearable polyester film (C), and the polyolefin film (D) which has heat-sealing property. It is an important feature that it consists of laminated films.
Microwave heating by microwave oven is generally called internal heating, but when the microwave penetrates directly and uses up 50% of energy, it is about 3cm in the case of water (25 ° C). When the food containing salt is warmed by microwave dielectric heating at 2450 MHz because it is 5 mm or less, since it is converted into heat near the surface of the food, the larger the relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss angle of the food, the larger the value. Since the calorific value is large and it is easily heated, heat accumulates in the vicinity of the surface of the packaging material, and as a result, thermal damage such as opening of holes in the packaging material occurs.
In the present invention, in order to prevent thermal damage such as perforation of the packaging material due to such microwave heating, three layers of polyester film are laminated, and the thickness of the polyester film in the entire packaging material is reduced. Heat resistance is improved by increasing the thickness. On the other hand, as the thickness of the packaging material increases, the tearability of the packaging material decreases, but in the present invention, by using a polyester film having linear tearability in one layer of the polyester layer, the packaging material is easily tearable. To ensure easy opening when used as a packaging bag.
FIG. 1 shows an example of the layer structure of the packaging material of the present invention, in order from the side that becomes the outer surface when a packaging bag is formed, polyester film (A) 1,
[Polyester film (A)]
In the packaging material of the present invention, a polyester resin conventionally used in the field of packaging materials can be used as the polyester film (A) that becomes the outer surface when it is used as a packaging bag.
As such a polyester resin, 50 mol% or more of the aromatic carboxylic acid component is composed of a terephthalic acid component, and 50% or more of the alcohol component mainly composed of an aliphatic diol is composed mainly of an ethylene terephthalate unit composed of an ethylene glycol component. The polyester resin can be preferably used. As long as the above conditions are satisfied, the polyester may be a homopolyester, a copolyester, or a blend of two or more of these.

Examples of carboxylic acid components other than the terephthalic acid component include isophthalic acid, naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, p-β-oxyethoxybenzoic acid, biphenyl-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid, diphenoxyethane-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid, 5 -Sodium sulfoisophthalic acid, hexahydroterephthalic acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, trimellitic acid, pyromellitic acid, etc. can be mentioned.
On the other hand, as alcohol components other than ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol, neopentyl glycol, 1,6-hexylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, cyclohexane dimethanol, bisphenol A ethylene oxide adduct, Examples include alcohol components such as glycerol, trimethylolpropane, pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, and sorbitan.
The polyester resin should have a molecular weight in the film forming range, and the intrinsic viscosity [η] measured using a phenol / tetrachloroethane mixed solvent as a solvent is 0.5 or more, particularly in the range of 0.6 to 1.5. It is preferable from the viewpoint of barrier properties against mechanical components and mechanical properties.
The polyester film (A) is preferably biaxially stretched from the viewpoint of tearability and mechanical strength of the packaging material.
The thickness of the polyester film (A) is preferably in the range of 9 to 25 μm.
[Polyester film (B) having a barrier layer]
The polyester film (B) having a barrier layer is formed by forming a barrier layer on the same polyester film as the above-described polyester film (A).
The barrier layer may be formed on any surface of the polyester film (B) on the polyester film (A) side or the linear tearable polyester film (C) side, but the inner surface side of the polyester film (A). In the case where the printing layer is formed, it is desirable to form it on the polyester film (A) side because the transfer of ink to the inner surface side of the packaging material can be directly prevented by the barrier layer.
As the barrier layer, a vapor deposition layer formed by depositing an inorganic material such as silicon oxide, ceramics such as alumina, carbon, etc. by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), vacuum deposition method, sputtering method, ion plating method or the like. Alternatively, a coating layer made of a barrier resin coating agent made of a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer, vinylidene chloride, an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, or the like can be exemplified, and an alumina vapor deposition layer is particularly preferably used.
A primer layer such as a polyester urethane resin, a mixture of a polyester resin and an isocyanate resin, an epoxy resin, or a resin selected from melamine resins may be provided on the polyester film surface forming the barrier layer.
The polyester film forming the barrier layer is preferably biaxially stretched.
The thickness of the polyester film (B) forming the barrier layer is preferably in the range of 9 to 25 μm.
Further, the thickness of the barrier layer is not limited to this, but it is desirable from the viewpoint of barrier properties that it is in the range of 5 to 300 nm in the case of the vapor deposition layer and 1 to 10 μm in the case of the coating layer.
[Polyester film having linear tearability (C)]
In order to ensure easy opening of the packaging material for heating a microwave oven, a linear tearable polyester is indispensable. As the polyester film (C) having such a linear tearability, a conventionally known linear tearable property is required. A polyester film having the following can be used.
It is important that the polyester film having linear tearing property is adjacent to the polyolefin film (D) having heat sealing property, so that the polyolefin film having poor tearing property can follow the polyester film (C). And the tearability of the packaging material is improved.
The polyester film having a linear tearing property is not limited to this, but a film made of a blend of polybutylene terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate containing a polytetramethylene glycol unit, or polyethylene terephthalate and a polyester elastomer, and polyethylene terephthalate. Examples thereof include a film formed by biaxially stretching a film made of a blend in which a polyester elastomer is dispersed. Moreover, the film which gave the tearability by giving a polyester film a process etc. can also be used.
The thickness of the polyester film (C) is preferably in the range of 9 to 25 μm.
[Polyolefin film having heat sealability (D)]
A conventionally well-known thing can be used as a heat-sealable polyolefin film used as the innermost layer of the packaging material of this invention.
Such polyolefins include, for example, low-, medium- or high-density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, isotactic polypropylene, syndiotactic polypropylene, linear low density polyethylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer, polybutene. -1, poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, ethylene-butene-1 copolymer, propylene-butene-1 copolymer, ethylene-propylene-butene-1 copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ion Cross-linked olefin copolymers (ionomers), ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymers and the like can be mentioned. These can be used alone or in the form of a blend of two or more.
In particular, from the viewpoint of heat resistance, propylene-based polymers are suitable, and homopolypropylene, random copolymers mainly composed of propylene, and block copolymers can be used.
From the viewpoint of heat sealability, the polyolefin film is particularly preferably unstretched.
The thickness of the polyolefin film (D) is preferably in the range of 60 to 100 μm, particularly 70 to 80 μm from the viewpoint of drop strength and tearability. If the thickness of the polyolefin film is thinner than the above range, the drop strength and heat sealability will be inferior compared to the case of being in the above range, whereas if it is thicker than the above range, the tearability and economic efficiency will be inferior. become.
[Other layers]
In the packaging material of the present invention, the films of the above (A) to (D) are essential constituent requirements, but unless the excellent heat resistance and easy tearability of the packaging material of the present invention are impaired, Other layers can be provided.
In the packaging material of the present invention, a printing layer can be formed. As shown in FIG. 1, it is particularly preferable that the printing layer is formed on the surface of the polyester film (A) that contacts the polyester film (B). is there. Thereby, a printing layer can be protected with a polyester film (A).
The printing layer uses conventionally known printing inks such as an ultraviolet curable type, an electron beam curable type, and a solvent type, and a conventionally known method such as a gravure printing method, a flexographic printing method, an offset printing method, an inkjet printing method, a screen printing method, etc. Can be printed. The printing layer can also have a two-layer structure of a solid printing layer and a pattern layer. Furthermore, when forming a printing layer, an anchor coat layer can be formed in advance on the polyester film (A), and a printing layer can be formed on this anchor coat layer.
[Laminated film]
The packaging material of the present invention is a laminated film formed by laminating a polyester film (A), a polyester film (B) having a barrier layer, a linear tearable polyester film (C), and a polyolefin film (D) having heat sealing properties in this order. The laminated film can be laminated by a conventionally known lamination method such as a dry lamination method, a sandwich lamination method, or an extrusion lamination method.
For example, although not limited to this, each film (A)-(D) can each be created, and this can be laminated | stacked by the dry lamination method.
Also, a polyester film (B) having a barrier layer is extruded and laminated with a polyester resin constituting the polyester film (A) to produce a laminate comprising two layers of the polyester film (A) and (B). A heat-sealable polyolefin (D) is extruded and laminated through an adhesive resin to a polyester film (C) having linear tearing properties to produce a laminate composed of two layers of a polyester film (C) and a polyolefin film (B). These two-layer laminates may be laminated.
Examples of adhesives that can be used in the packaging material of the present invention include conventionally known polyether polyurethane-based or polyester polyurethane-based urethane adhesives, epoxy adhesives, and acid-modified thermoplastic resins such as maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene. An adhesive etc. can be mentioned.
Moreover, in the packaging material of this invention, it is preferable that the total thickness of the polyester film (A), the polyester film (B) which has a barrier layer, and a linear tearable polyester film (C) exists in the range of 30-50 micrometers. When the total thickness is thinner than the above range, the heat resistance of the packaging material cannot be sufficiently improved as compared to the above range, whereas when the total thickness is thicker than the above range, As compared with the case where it is in the above range, it becomes inferior in easy-opening property and in economical point.
(Packaging bag)
The packaging bag for microwave oven heating of this invention is formed from the packaging material for microwave oven heating mentioned above, It superimposes so that heat-sealable polyolefin film (D) may face each other using the said packaging material. It can be formed by heat sealing. The form of the packaging bag is not particularly limited, and it can be formed into a three- or four-sided normal pouch, gusseted pouch, standing pouch, pillow packaging bag, or the like. It is also desirable to provide a vapor vent that automatically opens during microwave heating.
Since the packaging bag of this invention is equipped with the polyester film (C) which has linear tearability, it is excellent in tearability and can be opened easily. Moreover, it can open more easily by forming a notch or a notch in the edge of a package.
(Packed food)
The packaged food for microwave oven heating according to the present invention is formed by filling and sealing the above-mentioned microwave oven packaging bag with the food.
Since the packaging bag for heating a microwave oven of the present invention has excellent heat resistance, when a conventional packaging bag is filled and sealed and heated by a high output microwave oven or heated for a long time, the packaging bag hole It is possible to fill foods that are likely to cause local overheating, such as perforations, as contents.
The temperature rise of the dielectric in microwave heating is expressed by the following formula (1).
Δt (° C.) = (10 −8 /2.1)·f·E 2 · εr · tan δ / cρ (1)
The depth power half depth at which the microwave penetrates from the surface of the dielectric to the inside (depth at which the microwave power becomes 50% of the surface) is expressed by the following formula (2).
D (m) = 3.32 · 10 7 / f · εr 1/2 · tan δ (2)
(1) In formula (2), f: frequency (2450 MHz), E: electric field strength, εr: relative dielectric constant, tanδ: dielectric loss angle, c: specific heat, ρ: density
From the above formula (1), it can be seen that the relative dielectric constant (εr) and the dielectric loss angle (tan δ) are greatly related to the temperature rise in microwave heating. It shows that the larger the value of the relative permittivity and the dielectric loss angle, the larger the heat generation amount, and the easier the heating (the temperature rise is large). Furthermore, when the microwave oven output becomes high, the electric field strength E increases and the heating further proceeds for a short time.
Further, from the above equation (2), the relative permittivity (εr) and the dielectric loss angle (tan δ) are also related to the penetration depth of the microwave. The larger the values of the relative permittivity and the dielectric loss angle, the deeper the penetration depth. The depth becomes shallow, and the vicinity of the surface is heated intensively.
Therefore, when the relative permittivity (εr) and dielectric loss angle (tanδ) increase, the amount of heat generated locally in the vicinity of the food surface, that is, the contact portion with the food packaging material increases, resulting in holes in the packaging material. Thermal damage such as opening will occur.
In the case of a food containing salt, there is a case where the food is converted into heat near the surface of the food, and the inside remains cold while boiling on the surface. Table 1 shows the relationship between salt concentration and half-power depth (D). It can be judged from the measured values that when the salt concentration increases, most of the energy changes to heat in the vicinity of the surface 4 to 6 mm.
From such a viewpoint, in the microwave oven packaged food of the present invention, the relative dielectric constant is in the range of 50 to 80, particularly 50 to 70, and the dielectric loss angle is 0.2 to 0.7, particularly 0. In the range of 35 to 0.7, the salinity is 2.5% by weight or less, the heat conductivity is poor, and the food that is likely to cause local overheating is filled and sealed in the packaging bag of the present invention as the contents. Even when heated by a microwave oven until the contents are completely warmed, thermal damage such as opening of a packaging bag does not occur. Moreover, in the microwave oven packaged food of the present invention, the viscosity of the food to be filled is preferably 25000 mPa · s or less, particularly preferably 3000 mPa · s or less.
Examples of such foods include, but are not limited to, cooked foods such as curry, stew, and salmon.

(Examples 1-12, Comparative Examples 1-7)
The drop strength of the microwave oven packaged food shown in Tables 8 and 9 was evaluated. Moreover, after heating for 1 minute and 40 seconds using a 700 W microwave oven, tearability and heat resistance were evaluated. The results are shown in Tables 8 and 9.
(Examples 13 to 16)
The drop strength of the microwave oven packaged food shown in Table 8 was evaluated. Moreover, after heating for 50 seconds using a 1700 W microwave oven, tearability and heat resistance were evaluated. The results are shown in Table 8.
According to Table 8, Examples 1 to 9 are heat resistant, have sufficient drop strength, have good tearability, and have no problem as packaged food for microwave heating.
In Example 2, since the total thickness of the PET layer is increased, the tearability is slightly reduced. Therefore, when the thickness is larger than that, the tearability is significantly decreased, and it is difficult to open.
In Example 4, since the polypropylene film becomes thicker and the tearability is slightly lowered, if the thickness is larger than this, the tearability is greatly lowered and it becomes difficult to open.
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 1, since there is no outermost PET and no easy-cut PET, heat resistance is reduced, and food that easily opens a hole by local heating causes a hole to be formed by microwave heating. In addition, the tearability deteriorates and it is difficult to open.
In Comparative Example 2, since the total thickness of the PET layer is almost the same as that of Example 1, there is no problem in heat resistance and drop strength. However, since there is no easy-cut PET, tearability is lowered and it is difficult to open.
Since Comparative Example 3 uses easy-cut PET, the tearability is improved. However, since there is no outermost PET layer as in Comparative Example 1, the heat resistance is reduced, and food that easily opens holes due to local heating is used. Perforation is caused by microwave heating. Moreover, since easy-cut PET is inferior in mechanical strength to PET, drop strength will also fall.
In Comparative Example 4, since the polypropylene film becomes thin, the drop strength is lowered, and bag breakage occurs at the time of dropping.
In Comparative Example 5, the layer thickness of the PET layer is too thick, the tearability is lowered, and it is difficult to open.
As in Comparative Examples 6 and 7, a food that has a relative dielectric constant of 50 to 80, a dielectric loss angle of 0.2 to 0.7, and a salt concentration of 2.5% by weight or less, During heating, perforation occurs due to local heating.
As described above, the microwave heating packaging bag of the present application requires a four-layer structure in order to impart heat resistance, corresponds to high output, and has good tearability when opened.
The microwave oven packaging material of the present invention and the microwave oven packaging bag made of this packaging material have significantly improved heat resistance as compared to conventional microwave oven packaging materials. Capable of handling from microwave ovens to high-power 1900W commercial microwave ovens, effectively preventing packaging material from being perforated even when it is filled and sealed with contents that are likely to cause temperature rise locally Therefore, it can be suitably used as a packaging bag for contents that are not easily heated, such as curry and stew, and that are easily overheated locally.
