Abstract
【解決手段】一次放射線を光学スペクトル領域の370〜430nmの領域内(ピーク波長)で発光し、前記の放射線を赤色、緑色及び青色で発光する3種の蛍光体を用いてより長波長の放射線に変換する発光変換LEDをベースとする照明ユニット。

Claims (19)
- 光源として少なくとも1つのLEDを備えた照明ユニットであって、前記のLEDは光学スペクトル領域の370〜430nmの範囲内の一次放射線を発光し(ピーク波長)、LEDの一次放射線に曝され、青色、緑色及び赤色のスペクトル領域で発光する3種の蛍光体によって前記の放射線は部分的に又は完全により長波長の放射線に変換されて、白色光を生じる照明ユニットにおいて、前記の変換が少なくとも、440〜485nmの波長の最大値で青色に発光する蛍光体、及び505〜550nmの波長の最大値で緑色に発光する蛍光体、及び560〜670nmの波長の最大値で赤色に発光する蛍光体を用いて達成され、その際、これらの3種の蛍光体の少なくとも1つが第1表、第2表又は第3表の蛍光体からなることを特徴とする、光源として少なくとも1つのLEDを備えた照明ユニット。
- LEDが、3つの表からのそれぞれ1つである3種の蛍光体の使用下で白色放射線を発光する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 一次放射源としてGa(In,Al)NをベースとするLEDを使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 青色蛍光体:
M5(PO4)3(X):Eu2+
[式中、Mは金属Ba、Caの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又はSrと組み合わされたものを表し、XはハロゲンF又はClの少なくとも1つを表す];
又は青色蛍光体:
M* 3MgSi2O8:Eu2+
[式中、M*は金属Ba、Ca、Srの少なくとも1つだけか又はその組み合わせたものを表す]
又は青色蛍光体:
ZnS:Ag
又は青色蛍光体:
M**MgAl10O17:Eu2+
[式中、M**は金属Eu、Srの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又はBaと組み合わされたものを表す]の使用下で白色光を生じる、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。 - 緑色蛍光体:

[式中、Lnは金属Gd、La、Luの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又はYと組み合わされたものを表し;Stは元素Se、Teの少なくとも1つを表し;AkはEuだけか又はBiと組み合わせたものを表す]
又は赤色蛍光体:
ZnS:Cu,Mn又はSr2P2O7:Ak2+
[式中、Akは金属Eu,Mnの少なくとも1つを表す]の使用下で白色光を生じる、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。 - 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜420nmの波長領域にあり、青色蛍光体M5(PO4)3(X):Eu2+[式中、Mは金属Ba、Caの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又はSrと組み合わされたものを表し、XはハロゲンF又はClの少なくとも1つを表す];又は蛍光体M**MgAl10O17:Eu2+[式中、M**は金属Eu、Srの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又はBaと組み合わされたものを表す]を使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は380nmを下回る波長領域にあり、青色蛍光体
M* 3MgSi2O8:Eu2+[式中、Mは金属Ba、Ca、Srの少なくとも1つだけを表すか又は組み合わされたものを表す]を使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。 - 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜420nmの波長領域にあり、緑色蛍光体

- 照明ユニットが、LEDのフィールド(アレイ)である、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 蛍光体の少なくとも1種が、LEDの前方に取り付けられた光学装置上に設けられている、請求項9記載の照明ユニット。
- 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜410nmの波長領域にあり、青色蛍光体ZnS:Agを使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜410nmの波長領域にあり、緑色蛍光体ZnS:Cu,Al[式中、Cu及びAlは一緒に使用される]を使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜410nmの波長領域にあり、赤色蛍光体ZnS:Cu,Mn[式中、Cu及びMnは一緒に使用される]を使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
- 白色光を生じさせるために、一次発光した放射線は370〜410nmの波長領域にあり、請求項16、17及び18記載の青色、緑色及び赤色蛍光体を一緒に使用する、請求項1記載の照明ユニット。
