Abstract
Description
塩酸電解による塩素発生を目的とする幾つかの陽極を、下記の手順を施すことによって作製した。
・合金2:チタン−アルミニウム(1.0/2.0%)
・合金3:チタン−タンタル(5%)
・合金4:チタン−アルミニウム(2.5/3.5%)−バナジウム(2.0/3.0%)
・合金5:チタン−モリブデン(0.2/0.4%)−ニッケル(0.6/0.9%)
・合金6:チタン−クロム(0.1/0.2%)−ニッケル(0.35/0.55%)−ルテニウム(0.02/0.04%)−パラジウム(0.01/0.02%)
・合金7:チタン−パラジウム(0.12/0.25%)(基準としての先行技術)
・合金8:チタン−鉄(0.5%)
・合金9:ASTM B265による等級1の純粋なチタン(基準としての先行技術)
b. 上記のシートを1辺が5cmの正方形プレートとしてコールドカッティングした。
塩化ナトリウム溶液を電気分解するための幾つかの陽極を、下記の手順を施すことによって作製した。
・合金5:チタン−モリブデン(0.2/0.4%)−ニッケル(0.6/0.9%)
・合金6:チタン−クロム(0.1/0.2%)−ニッケル(0.35/0.55%)−ルテニウム(0.02/0.04%)−パラジウム(0.01/0.02%)
・合金9:ASTM B265による等級1の純粋なチタン(基準としての先行技術)
b. 上記のシートを1辺が5cmの正方形プレートとしてコールドカッティングした。
1辺が2cmで厚さ1mmの正方形プレート〔合金6のシートと合金9(先行技術)のシートをコールドカッティングすることによって得た〕を2対、下記のように処理した。
Claims (12)
- 可溶性前駆体の熱分解により得られる複数の個別層によって形成される、白金族金属及び/又はそれらの酸化物を含有する電極触媒被膜、を有する金属基材を含み、前記金属基材が、前記熱分解の条件下にて酸化可能な少なくとも1種の元素を含有するチタン合金で造られている、電気化学プロセス用の陽極。
- 前記酸化可能な元素が、金属基材と電極触媒被膜との間に介在させた酸化チタン層の内部に部分的に分散されている、請求項1に記載の陽極。
- 前記少なくとも1種の酸化可能な元素が、アルミニウム、ニオブ、クロム、マンガン、モリブデン、ルテニウム、錫、タンタル、バナジウム、およびジルコニウムからなる第1の組から選択される、請求項1または2に記載の陽極。
- 前記金属基材の前記チタン合金が、ニッケル、コバルト、鉄、および銅からなる第2の組から選択される少なくとも1種の元素をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の陽極。
- 前記少なくとも1種の酸化可能な元素が0.01〜5重量%の濃度にて存在する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の陽極。
- 前記チタン合金が、0.02〜0.04重量%のルテニウム、0.01〜0.02重量%のパラジウム、0.1〜0.2重量%のクロム、および0.35〜0.55重量%のニッケルを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の陽極。
- 前記触媒被膜を構成している前記個別層が、全体で1時間より長い継続時間の連続的な熱分解工程によって得られる、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の陽極。
- 前記電極触媒被膜がさらに最終的な熱処理に付される、請求項7に記載の陽極。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の陽極を装備していることを特徴とする電解セル。
- 塩酸溶液を電気分解するための、請求項9に記載の電解セルの使用。
- 塩素−苛性ソーダ電解プロセスにおける、請求項9に記載の電解セルの使用。
- 酸性電解質中にて陽極での酸素発生を伴う電気冶金学的プロセスのための、請求項9に記載の電解セルの使用。
