Abstract
Description
基礎となる接着材料が、NeoResins,Inc.,730 Main Street、Wilmington MA 01887から市販され入手可能な2つのポリウレタン分散物、NeoRez(登録商標)9630およびNeoRez9330をブレンドすることにより調製した。この材料を、各々が約50gの8つのサンプルに分割し、各サンプルは40重量%の固形分、そして変化する量の酢酸カリウム、テトラブチルアンモニウムクロライド、またはポリ(アクリル酸)水溶液を、以下の表に示されるように添加した;コントロールサンプルがまた、添加剤なしで提供された。
この実施例は、前記の同時継続中の出願番号第10/715,916号に記載のような接着材料の体積抵抗率を低下することにおけるテトラブチルアンモニウムヘキサフロオロホスフェート(NBu4PF6)の影響を示す。
Claims (37)
- 第1の基板および第2の基板、ならびに該第1の基板と第2の基板との間に配置された接着層および電気光学材料の層を備える、電気光学アセンブリであって、該接着層が、ポリマー接着材料と塩、高分子電解質、ポリマー電解質、固体電解質、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む、電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記接着層が、ポリマー接着材料および塩の混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記塩が、酢酸カリウムを含む、請求項2に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記塩が、第4級アンモニウム塩を含む、請求項2に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記塩が、テトラアルキルアンモニウム塩を含む、請求項4に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記塩が、塩化テトラブチルアンモニウムまたはヘキサフルオロホスフェートを含む、請求項5に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記高分子電解質がポリ酸の塩を含む、請求項1に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記高分子電解質がポリアクリル酸のアルカリ金属塩を含む、請求項7に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記添加物を含む接着層に、異なる色の領域が提供され、そしてカラーフィルターとして供される、請求項1に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記添加物を含む接着層が、光学的バイアス要素をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記接着層が、ポリマー接着材料1gあたり約10−6〜約10−4モルの塩を含む、請求項2に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記接着層が、ポリマー接着材料1gあたり約10−5〜約10−4モルの塩を含む、請求項11に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。

- 前記第1の基板および第2の基板の少なくとも1つが、電極を備える、請求項1に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の基板および第2の基板の各々が、少なくとも1つの電極を備える、請求項14に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の基板が光透過性の電気的に伝導性の電極を備え、前記第2の基板が放出シートを備え、そして前記電気光学媒体が固形電気光学媒体である、請求項14に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 以下:
第1の表面および第2の表面をその対向する面に有する固形電気光学媒体の層;
該固形電気光学媒体の層の第1の表面上の第1の接着層;
該固形電気光学媒体の層から第1の接着層の対向する面上に配置された放出シート;および
該固形電気光学媒体の層の第2の表面上の第2の接着層を備え、
該第1の接着層および第2の接着層の少なくとも1つが、ポリマー接着材料と、塩、高分子電解質、ポリマー電解質、固体電解質、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む、製造品。 - 第1の基板および第2の基板、ならびに該第1の基板と第2の基板との間に配置された接着層および電気光学材料の層を備える電気光学アセンブリであって、該接着層が、ポリマー接着材料と伝導性金属粉末、強磁性流体、非反応性溶媒、伝導性有機化合物、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む、電気光学アセンブリ。
- 前記伝導性金属粉末がニッケルを含む、請求項18に記載の電気光学アセンブリ。
- 以下:
第1の表面および第2の表面をその対向する面に有する固形電気光学媒体の層;
該固形電気光学媒体の層の第1の表面上の第1の接着層;
該固形電気光学媒体の層から第1の接着層の対向する面上に配置された放出シート;および
該固形電気光学媒体の層の第2の表面上の第2の接着層を備え、
該第1の接着層および第2の接着層の少なくとも1つが、ポリマー接着材料と、伝導性金属粉末、強磁性流体、非反応性溶媒、伝導性有機化合物、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む、製造品。 - 複数のカプセルを含む電気泳動媒体であって、該カプセルの各々が、カプセル壁、該カプセル壁内にカプセル化された懸濁流体、および該懸濁流体中に懸濁された複数の荷電した粒子を含み、そして該媒体への電場の印加に際しそれを通じて移動し得、該媒体が該カプセルを取り囲むバインダーをさらに含み、該バインダーが、ポリマー接着材料と塩、高分子電解質、ポリマー電解質、固体電解質、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む、電気泳動媒体。
- 前記バインダーが、前記ポリマー接着材料および塩の混合物を含む、請求項21に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記塩が、酢酸カリウムを含む、請求項22に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記塩が、第4級アンモニウム塩を含む、請求項22に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記塩が、テトラアルキルアンモニウム塩を含む、請求項24に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記塩が、塩化テトラブチルアンモニウムまたはヘキサフルオロホスフェートを含む、請求項25に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記高分子電解質がポリ酸の塩を含む、請求項21に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記高分子電解質が、ポリアクリル酸のアルカリ金属塩を含む、請求項27に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- 前記添加物を含むバインダーが、光学的バイアス要素をさらに含む、請求項21に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- バインダー1gあたり約10−6〜約10−4モルの塩を含む、請求項21に記載の電気泳動媒体。
- バインダー1gあたり約10−5〜約10−4モルの塩を含む、請求項30に記載の電気泳動媒体。

- 前記ポリマー接着材料が、ポリウレタン、酢酸ビニル、酢酸ビニルエチレン、エポキシ、ポリアクリル酸をベースにした接着剤、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項34に記載の接着剤。
- ポリマー接着材料と、伝導性金属粉末、強磁性流体、非反応性溶媒、伝導性有機化合物、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される添加物との混合物を含む接着剤。
- 前記ポリマー接着材料が、ポリウレタン、酢酸ビニル、酢酸ビニルエチレン、エポキシ、ポリアクリル酸をベースにした接着剤、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項36に記載の接着剤。
