Abstract
Description
本発明は一般に、剥離可能シールを特徴とするポリマー層構造体に関し、より詳細には、剥離可能オーバーポーチなどの製造に対するそのような物質の使用に関する。
医療分野では、一次容器は、治療用液体、栄養性溶液、呼吸器治療剤、透析溶液、血液、血液製剤、血漿誘導体、血漿増量剤、および他の治療剤の回収、保存、輸送および最終的な送達のために使用される。多くの場合、これらの一次容器は、二次容器(例えば、一次容器内に含まれる物質の完全性および体積を維持するためのオーバーポーチ)内に配置される。一次容器は、チュービングセットに付着され、そして他の容器を伴なって、治療用液体送達セットを形成する。オーバーポーチは、固有の特性の組合せを有さなければならない。例えば、オーバーポーチは、その中に含まれる薬剤に対する汚染物質に関して、一次容器の内容物を視覚的に点検するために、光学的に透明であることが望ましい。少なくとも、透明性は、容器のラベルの文を読みやすくすることを可能にしなければならない。その物質はまた、オートクレーブプロセスまたは滅菌プロセス(通常は、約121℃の温度および高圧で蒸気を使用して成し遂げられる)に耐える能力を備えて、広い範囲の温度にわたって機能的でなければならない。
本発明は、エチレン含有ポリマーを含む第一封止層および剥離可能シールに沿って第一封止層に付着したポリプロピレン含有ポリマーを含む第二封止層を有する剥離可能ポリマー層を提供する。
本発明は、図に示され、本明細書中に詳細に記載される多くの異なる形態における実施形態の影響を受けやすいが、それらの特定の実施形態は、本開示が本発明の原理の例示として考えられるべきであり、本発明を、例示した特定の実施形態に限定することを意図しないことを理解することを伴なっている。
70ミクロンの厚さのHDPEの第一封止層を有する第一シート、7ミクロンの厚さのMAH−PEのタイ層、および18ミクロンの厚さの6ナイロンの第一外層。45ミクロンの厚さのポリプロピレンの第二封止層、9ミクロンの厚さのMAH−PPの第二タイ層および28ミクロンの厚さの6ナイロンの中間層を有する第二シートも含まれる。さらに、第二シートは、9ミクロンの厚さのMAH−PPの第三タイ層および90ミクロンの厚さのLLDPEの第二外層を含む。第一シートを、ポリエチレン層に接触するHDPE層と一緒にヒートシールした。実施例1は、図6に対応する。
70ミクロンの厚さのHDPEの第一封止層を有する第一シート、7ミクロンのMAH−PEのタイ層、および18ミクロンの厚さの6ナイロンの第一外層。これはまた、90%PPランダムコポリマー+10%PPランダム異種位相性コポリマーの92ミクロンの厚さの第二封止層、9ミクロンの厚さのMAH−PPのタイ層および56ミクロンの厚さの6ナイロンの第二外層を有する第二シートを含む。実施例2は、図5に対応する。
オートクレーブ能力を、いくつかの一次バッグを作製し、そこに蒸留水を充填し、それらを実施例2に規定するフィルムの組合せでオーバーポーチし、そして、それらを121℃で、28ポンド/平方インチの逆圧で、60分間オートクレーブ中で滅菌することによって示した。次いで、オーバーポーチの残余を以下に示すシール強度試験のために維持するために、そのバッグを一方の端を開封することにより剥離可能オーバーポーチから取り除いた。
公知の外形を有するオートクレーブしたフィルムサンプルを、サンプルを伸長するためのクロスヘッドを有するサーボ制御水圧により駆動される(servohydraulically driven)力学的テスター上にマウントする。1分間あたり10インチ(25cm)のクロスヘッドスピードで、サンプルを約20%伸長まで、伸長させる。この時点で、クロスヘッドを移動させ、次いで、サンプルを伸長するために元々使用された向きとは反対の向きに移動させるために逆にする。応力−歪みの挙動を、デジタルレコーダーで記録する。弾性係数(「E(kg/mm2)」)を、圧力−歪み曲線の最初の傾きから選び、そして、回復係数を、超過したサンプルの面積からサンプルの伸長の百分率として選んだ。
オートクレーブ後のフィルムサンプルを最初に、約2×2平方インチ(5×5平方インチ)に切断し、Humber色彩計上にマウントし、それらの内部のくもりをASTM D−1003に従って測定した。実施例1および2に関して、第一シートのくもり%は、26±5%であった。実施例に関しては、第二シートのくもり%は、30±3%であった。実施例2に関しては、第二シートのくもり%は、12±3%であった。
剥離シールの強度を決定するために、シールした層の15mm幅の小片を、シールの向きに対して垂直および平行の両方の向きで、張力試験した。実施例1および2に関して、シールの向きに対して平衡な向きにおいて、121℃で蒸気滅菌した後のシールを分離させるのに必要な力は、0.50〜7.6N/15mmであった。シールの向きに対して垂直な向きにおいて、シールを分離させるのに必要な力は、17N/15mmであった。
Claims (68)
- 剥離可能ポリマー層構造体であって、以下:
エチレン含有ポリマーを含む第一封止層、および
剥離可能シールに沿って該第一封止層に付着したポリプロピレン含有ポリマーを含む第二封止層、
を含む、剥離可能ポリマー層構造体。 - 前記第一封止層が、エチレンホモポリマーおよびエチレンコポリマーからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記エチレンホモポリマーが、高密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、および鎖状低密度ポリエチレンからなる群より選択される、請求項2に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第一封止層が、高密度ポリエチレンである、請求項3に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層が、プロピレンホモポリマーおよびプロピレンコポリマーからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層が、プロピレンホモポリマーである、請求項5に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンホモポリマーが、(a)アモルファス、(b)アイソタクチック、(c)シンジオタクチック、(d)アタクチック、(e)ヘミイソタクチックおよび(f)ステレオブロックからなる群より選択される立体化学を有する、請求項6に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンホモポリマーが、単一部位触媒を使用して入手される、請求項6に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層がプロピレンコポリマーである、請求項5に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンコポリマーが、プロピレンモノマーと2〜20個の炭素を有するα−オレフィンとの重合によって入手される、請求項9に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- プロピレンが、前記コポリマーの約1重量%〜約20重量%の量のエチレンと共重合される、請求項9に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- プロピレンが、前記コポリマーの約1重量%〜約10重量%の量のエチレンと共重合される、請求項11に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- プロピレンが、前記コポリマーの約2重量%〜約5重量%の量のエチレンと共重合される、請求項11に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンおよびエチレンのコポリマーが、ランダムコポリマーである、請求項11に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンおよびエチレンのコポリマーが、ブロックコポリマーである、請求項11に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、異種位相性である、請求項14に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記プロピレンコポリマーが、単一部位触媒を使用して入手される、請求項9に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層が高溶融強度ポリプロピレンである、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記高溶融強度ポリプロピレンが、ポリプロピレンホモポリマーおよびポリプロピレンコポリマーからなる群より選択される、請求項18に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層が、ポリプロピレンおよびα−オレフィンコポリマーのブレンドである、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記ポリプロピレンおよびα−オレフィンコポリマーのブレンドが、該α−オレフィン中の炭素の数によって変化する、請求項20に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記シールが、手の圧力を用いることによりはがされ得る、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第一封止層に付着した第一外層をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 請求項23に記載のポリマー層構造体であって、前記第一外層は、(1)ポリオレフィン、(2)ポリアミド、(3)ポリエステル、(4)以下(a)2〜20個の炭素を有するカルボン酸、(b)それらのエステル誘導体、(c)アクリル酸、(d)エステル誘導体またはアクリル酸、(e)アルキル置換アクリル酸、(f)アクリル酸のアルキル置換エステル、(g)酢酸ビニル、および(h)アクリル酸ビニルを含む一種以上のモノマーと共重合されるエチレン、からなる群より選択される、ポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第一外層がポリアミドである、請求項24に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記ポリアミドが6ナイロンである、請求項25に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二封止層に付着した第二外層をさらに備える、請求項23に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 請求項27に記載のポリマー構造体であって、前記第二外層は、(1)ポリオレフィン、(2)ポリアミド、(3)ポリエステル、(4)以下(a)2〜20個の炭素を有するカルボン酸、(b)それらのエステル誘導体、(c)アクリル酸、(d)エステル誘導体またはアクリル酸、(e)アルキル置換アクリル酸、(f)アクリル酸のアルキル置換エステル、(g)酢酸ビニル、および(h)アクリル酸ビニルを含む一種以上のモノマーと共重合されるエチレンからなる群より選択される、ポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二外層がポリアミドである、請求項28に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記ポリアミドが6ナイロンである、請求項29に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 引く力が前記シールの向きと平行な向きに、該シールに加えられる場合に、該シールが約0.5N〜約7.6Nの強度を有する、請求項1に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 請求項31に記載のポリマー層構造体であって、前記シール強度が、蒸気オートクレーブプロセスに供される該構造体と121℃で一時間の蒸気オートクレーブプロセスに供された後の該構造体とを比較する場合に、約50%より大きくは変動しない、ポリマー層構造体。
- 前記第二外層がポリオレフィンである、請求項28に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが鎖状低密度ポリエチレンである、請求項33に記載のポリマー層構造体。
- オーバーポーチ容器であって、以下:
エチレン含有ポリマーの第一封止層を有する第一側壁、および
プロピレン含有ポリマーの第二封止層を有する第二側壁であって、該第二封止層が、剥離可能な周辺のシールに沿って、該第一封止層に付着している、第二側壁、
を備える、オーバーポーチ容器。 - 前記第一封止層が、エチレンホモポリマーおよびエチレンコポリマーからなる群より選択される、請求項35に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 請求項36に記載のオーバーポーチであって、前記エチレンホモポリマーが、高密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレンおよび鎖状低密度ポリエチレンからなる群より選択される、オーバーポーチ。
- 前記第一封止層が高密度ポリエチレンである、請求項37に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 前記第二封止層が、プロピレンホモポリマーおよびプロピレンコポリマーからなる群より選択される、請求項35に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 前記第二封止層が、プロピレンホモポリマーである、請求項39に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 前記プロピレンホモポリマーが、(a)アモルファス、(b)アイソタクチック、(c)シンジオタクチック、(d)アタクチック、(e)ヘミイソタクチックおよび(f)ステレオブロックからなる群より選択される立体化学を有する、請求項40に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 前記プロピレンホモポリマーが、単一部位触媒を使用して入手される、請求項40に記載のオーバーポーチ。
- 前記第二封止層がプロピレンコポリマーである、請求項39に記載のオーバーポーチ。
