Abstract
【解決手段】電気光学材料が配置されてなる電気光学パネルと、前記電気光学パネルに対して可視光を照射する照光手段と、金属材料で形成された複数のフレームに分割され、且つ、分割されている複数のフレームを直接結合して一体に形成することにより前記電気光学パネル及び前記照光手段を共に保持する金属フレームと、を具備する。

Claims (7)
- 電気光学材料が配置されてなる電気光学パネルと、
前記電気光学パネルに対して可視光を照射する照光手段と、
金属材料で形成された複数のフレームに分割され、且つ、分割されている複数のフレームを直接結合して一体に形成することにより前記電気光学パネル及び前記照光手段を共に保持する金属フレームと、
を具備することを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記金属フレームは、前記複数のフレームを一体に形成した際に、各複数のフレームの対応する位置に対になって設けられた複数の結合部がそれぞれ結合することによって前記複数のフレームを一体に形成可能となっており、
さらに、前記金属フレームは、複数の辺を有しており、
前記結合部は、前記複数の辺のうちの少なくとも2辺に形成され、
前記辺に形成された前記結合部は、1つの前記辺に少なくとも2ヶ所以上形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記結合部は、一方のフレームに形成される結合孔と、
他方のフレームに形成される突起部と、
から形成されており、
前記フレームが有する弾性力によって前記突起部が前記結合孔に入り込むことにより結合することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記複数のフレームは、一体に形成した際に前記電気光学パネル側に位置し、且つ、表示孔が形成されている第1フレームと、
前記照光手段側に位置する第2フレームと、
から形成されており、
前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームとを一体に形成した際に、前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームとが直接重なっている部分は、前記第2フレームが前記第1フレームの外側に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記複数のフレームは、一体に形成した際に前記電気光学パネル側に位置する第1フレームと、
前記照光手段側に位置する第2フレームと、
から形成されており、
前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームとを一体に形成した際に、前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームとが直接重なっている部分は、前記第1フレームが前記第2フレームの外側に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記電気光学パネルにはフレキシブル配線基板が実装されており、
前記第2フレームは分割されてそれぞれ別個に前記第1フレームに結合されており、
前記第2フレームの分割された一方のフレームは前記第1フレームと共に前記電気光学パネル及び前記照光手段を保持しており、他方のフレームは前記第1フレームと共に前記電気光学パネル、前記照光手段及び前記フレキシブル配線基板を保持していることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の電気光学装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電気光学装置を備えたことを特徴とする電子機器。
