In an overhead crane in which a crab 3 runs on rails 5 on the crane bridge 1 and the load hook is suspended from four hoist ropes 10 passing round guide pulleys 9, 11 arranged at the corners of the crab, each pulley 9 is mounted on a lever 6 which is pivotally mounted at 7 on the crab and provided with a guide roller 8 engaging a rail 2 on the bridge.
