Abstract

817,605. Agricultural implements. ROTARY HOES Ltd. Aug. 30, 1957 [Sept. 12, 1956], No. 27846/56. Class 6(1). A tractor drawn rotary cultivator is provided with a transverse roller 38 which controls the depth of operation of the rotor 22 and compresses and holds loose material in the path of the rotor. As shown the roller is adjusted by means of a crank-handle 47. The rotor 22 is provided with a sheild 49 and the machine is attached to a tractor three-point linkage 11, 19 and the rotor is driven from the tractor power shaft by means of a telecopic driving shaft with universal joints 27, 28.
