Abstract

821,349. Agricultural implements. LANDMASTER Ltd. Nov. 27, 1957 [Nov. 30, 1956], No. 36710/56. Class 6(1). [Also in Group XXIV] A rotary cultivator comprises a transverse member 20 which pivotally carries supporting members 40 between which is mounted an earthworking rotor 15, a pair of landwheels 30 being mounted on members 28 connected to the frame 24. The rotor 15 is driven from a tractor power shaft by means of a shaft 48 through a gearbox which incorporates a clutch (see Group XXIV). The wheels 30 are moved to raise and lower the rotor by a hydraulic ram 36, a member 95 co-operating with a member 40a to raise the rotor 15 which is freely pivotable about the member 20 when working. Adjustable depth wheels 91 are provided and a cowl 81 together with a continuation cowl portion 82 are provided.
