856,630. Agricultural implements. ROTARY HOES Ltd. March 4, 1958 [March 7, 1957], No. 7544/57. Class 6(1). A rotary cultivator comprising a rotor 18 situated within a compartment 13 provided at the rear with a device for shaping the surface of the cut soil and a device 38 for compacting the cut soil layer is characterized in that the rotor and compartment are supported from the tractor for movement by a power lift mechanism 28 about an axis X while preserving the angle between the bottom edge of the compartment 13 and the ground, the compartment being angularly adjustable about an axis 34 whereby the compartment can be tilted. The compartment and rotor are arranged to be laterally tilted about a longitudinal axis.
