A clutch disc for an electromagnetic clutch comprises inner 13 and outer 12 discs offerromagnetic material connected by an annular zone of individual inserts 11 of non-magnetic material. The non-magnetic material may be a coppercontaining material forming mixed crystals with the disc materials. Segmental recesses 16 may be formed between the inserts 11, the radial width of the recesses being greater than that of the inserts. The discs 12, 13 may have radial slits 14 such that each sector 12 is connected to the disc 13 through the non-magnetic insert 11 only.
