781,304. Steering trailers. CROSSLEY MOTORS, Ltd. Sept. 2, 1955 [Sept. 30, 1954], No. 28183/54. Class 79(5) A horizontal steering shaft 6 on a trailer has arms 5, 9 depending from its ends, the arm 5 being connected by a link 4 to a lever 3 operated by the trailer drawbar 1, the arm 9 being connected by a drag link 10 to a steering lever 11 on a front wheel mounting, and the steering lever 11 being connected by a track rod 13 to a steering lever 14 for the other front wheel 18. As shown the wheels 18 are deflectably carried by the ends of an axle 16 spring- connected to the trailer frame 2 which carries a floor above the steering mechanism.
